6) As i`m being told from GMs, there is no way to recover this items, money etc, then we heard from a friend that the restoration can be done via POL and we will try to sort this out mainly in Monday.
7) There is no way that Stocky would try to get money from friends-etc and me cause he had considerable amount of money in items and gils, and he doesn`t need to ask me for anything, he is allowed to take all my belongings - items -account -etc cause we are very close family members. And for our friends that helped- we know each other for long enough time to trust each other and money is not a problem between us, that is even easily recoverable.
8) I understand that people here might think differently but in the main, reason of this thread is to find the person who did this to us and the reason behind it. If anyone knows this person please let us know.

Why didn't you change his password for him and persuade him into reformatting his computer?

Cause I changed my password once, and didn't have time to tell him before it got changed by the hacker. And fyi I couldn't have reformatted any sooner even if I wanted to cause I didn't know where my windows discs were.

Don't need windows disc to format, and wouldn't you much rather format and THEN look for CD's instead of lose your account again?

Not everyone uses their computer strictly for gaming. He could have had more important things on there: research projects for school, financial records, family/friends pictures, etc on there that have much more value than a ffxi account.

Agreed. Someone said something about 2 years to get what he had back. Not including mule I think that's like $334.80. But then you have to think about the first two years, thats another $334.80. Together that's $669.60, over half of a thousand dollars wasted <besides that fact that it is just game so some people would call it wasted money in any case> because he didn't feel like backing up his stuff and reformatting.

Edit:: That doesn't even include the setback he put on his family and friends from borrowing their gear and gil just to have that stolen as well.
