Head. Him leaving, good or bad or indifferent.

    Old news, but never discussed.

If he found religion, wonderful, but he also helped kill something so beautiful. Korn may be a mainstream band, but who the fuck can truely deny that they pioneered alot of what we except in nu-metal nowadays. Brian, you were a great musician and you took it away from us.

Nu-metal fucking sucks. I never understood why great musicians would play such shitty music.

I say good, because he's doing something for his own mental and emotional well being instead of catering to the public. Good for him.

I guess if it was for his own good, fine. It could also easily be a publicity stunt as well.

Of course I'd hope it isn't either, but there is always that possibility.

Since when is finding God a "negative life-changing decision"?

When all you do is trade one way to completely surrender your free will (drugs) for another (blind religious subscription) then finding God is a bad path to tread.

Criticism of organized religion in general aside, there are good ways to find religion and bad ways. I reckon people are just hoping he hasn't gone the bad way and turns into a religious lunatic with no mind of his own (Tom Cruise, Mel Gibson, etc.)

You wouldn't know that though because you've demonstrably never picked up a book nor educated yourself on the matter. Let me guess, overweight housewife?

    qft.

Whether your religious or not, you shouldn't blame someone for doing what they think is right to make their life better/happier versus what the crowd wants him to do.

Too many famous people go crazy over caring to much about what the public thinks, and that's no way to live your life.

You're trying to tell me the public doesn't think "turning to God" is the "right" thing to do?

He went from one self-esteem issue to another. He's just going to become addicted to religion instead of drugs, how does that help anyone? He didn't try to resolve the issue, he just replaced one problem with another.

Yes, organized religion is a problem. That's my opinion. Fortunately for me I can point to 2,000+ years of why it's a problem. No one can point to where a lack of religion and an abundance of reason ever was a problem.

If I see someone wearing a pizza as a hat, I'm going to tell them they look like a fucking idiot wearing a pizza as a hat. But being the complex reasonable person that I am, I'm not going to tell them they can't wear a pizza for a hat, or tell them bad things will happen to them as a result of wearing pizza as a hat.

Doesn't anyone ever find it funny that you can't use the words religion and tolerance in the same sentence? Oh wait...

Korn was only good when Jon was a drunkard (the 1st two albums).
