I usually only have friends with fairly similar principles as I do, they change their principles, I just might not be their friend anymore. I've done it a number of times before FFXI, don't see why I'd change that.

Or not. LS's have people in them that are not exactly nice. They only play for themselves are they just don't give a shit what other people think of them. Those people would be the type of people to MPK or shittalk. What happens those people? They get banned. Do they do it anymore? Most likely not, but if they do then they get banned again... But I will agree that someone who easily conforms would do that. But those people are the types to not be all that stable to begin with.

I'll by my own real life experiences. My childhood friend started to get into drugs, I wasn't a fan of them. Did I sit in his basement and watch him smoke up? No, if I saw that stuff going on, I left, eventually we just stopped talking altogether.

That's just like an LS, if an LS does something I'm not a fan of, I'm not going to join it and just ignore those things, I'm going to have nothing to do with it at all and I'm going to leave.

That is me standing by my principles. I don't expect everyone to act like I do, but I also don't ask them to be my friend if they don't.

Right, and in my example I avoid any association with certain things, which includes those who associate with "guilty" people. I had that typed up at first but deleted it for some reason. If you hang out with someone doing drugs, you're basically saying that you don't care that he does them. Similar idea with botting, though with botting you could even draw an analogy to supplying drugs (since you help the botters kill the botted mobs) but I don't think that's even necessary to make my point.

My principles are that I do care, and that I only care to associate with others that do care. By being with those people you're saying you don't care, and therefore I don't care to associate with you since you don't care.

Uh, basically I used to be in a LS with this person, who is kind of a nub, and they would bitch and whine every time I got a drop, and make snide comments about my "lack of ability". Eventually this grew to openly harassing me so I left rather than create too much drama-

relics are 50m now? when did i miss the memo? for gaxe it's 149 100's not counting the loan, so assuming a lowball of 5k per piece, 500*147=74.5m at least, most likely more. so if he's pulling 1m every 6 months, he's looking at only about 37 years to finish it! well on his way!
