Seriously...I wouldn't waste my time in a LS in which the leader threatens to break your pearl for not raising someone. If you're such a waste for the group because you don't go raise3, I wonder what kind of subhuman is the person who died, to the eyes of the leader? Or does this person who died suck the leader's cock on a regular basis?
If they can't be arsed to get a buffer, and the leader is such a douchebag, all I can tell you is "Good luck trying to defeat the Dynamis Lord".

A while back a few of my LS mates and I were out exping our early 40 jobs.

When we were grabbing people to party, we ended up down the line doing some long range replacements.

The monk that showed up to camp was dressed in flat gear, except for shield earrings and a shield neckless. He had no stat gear aside from his purple belt. He was wearing AF1 weapon and shoes. That's right: plain shoes. His other gear was some utterly forgetable monk clothes: I think out of everything he was wearing he had like, 3 dex for accuracy and a bunch of MP -> HP items. He had no natural Mp pool with his job/sub combo.

I asked him about his gear and he told me not to worry, he was about to ding into some better stuff.

The party moves along fast since I had a close friend running dark and another playing thief, and at that point chaos + rouge was the best combo a cor could roll.

When Jaront hit's his level, off goes the generic level 40 armor, on comes the generic mid 40's caraprece armor. Except he didn't swap out his boots. Besides that, Ta-dah! head to toe in utterly useless crap. Mediocre damage all party long.

I was by then pretty pissed at the fact that I had just spent about 30k or so in bullets on this party. So I told him to take a look at my gear for a second. He examined me (Pcc/gun belt/beaters/emp/boots/noct+1: Massive amounts of r.acc and agi and str. Not perfect gear, but above the curve.)

He says nothing for a few seconds.

Naturally, I decline, only to have the guy send me a tell of just "<Party>" without so much as a question mark, to which I respond just as simply with "No," Like 20 minutes later, the guy blind invites me again, and I decline again.

In between the two blind invites, I get this. No preface needed except to say that this guy was also a Sam and that in the spot where stuff is blurred a few minutes of silence passed.
