I didn't even think to /blockaid because... well... it's fucking Vivian. 1. She's hardly worth stealing, 2. it's pretty much impossible to steal without MPKing someone, which blockaid does nothing to prevent and 3. I don't know how I could possibly have foreseen someone being dumb enough to get on Vivian's hate list with non-malicious intentions and subsequently die right on top of me when they got owned. I actually sent the WHM an apologetic tell a little while ago after I cooled down, explaining that I didn't Raise him because I was so annoyed at having to start all over again, wasting Shihei, Remedies, Tacos and precious time in the process (yeah, I'm cheap). If there had been more than a sinlge person watching I would've put blockaid up for sure.

Kappy you suck, always having to one-up. There shouldn't even be any such thing as Vivian drama.

Bingo. I actually wanted to quit the dynamis shell (half bc of the rules, half because 7 hours is too much time to spend each week on a somewhat dull event) and well, this was the final push in the direction.

and hey, I was a leaky vag that night and I can't defend it. A lot of good things have been happening since that video was posted too :D

1. Widely open to interpretation. I had at least six steal attempts in my two months of soloing her day-to-day. Apparently she's serious business.

2. Because of her draw-in, and the fact that you need perfect positioning to avoid aggro, I'd honestly put her up there as one of(if not the) easiest mob in the game to MPK someone with.

3. You didn't foresee someone in FFXI being an idiot?

I never remembered blockaid either, I'm just sayin'~

And at least you're doing it in the present. Back when I did Vivian, remedies were 70k/stack >:

EDIT: And two of those MPK attempts were done by an entire LINKSHELL, not just one person, both of which, sadly, ended with them wiping(with an alliance..), and my stealing it back at low% for a Chainspell finale, ultimately saving me a whole lot of effort <3

Just because people are retarded enough to try and steal her doesn't make her worth stealing. It's not like she drops something game-breaking... the ring is a trophy item at best, the ribbon is a sidegrade and neither of them drop particularly often or are really worth the effort of popping/killing her in the first place unless, like you and me, you're doing it for the "fun" of it and for a shot at a shiny piece of town gear. Yeah, what I meant was there's no effective way to steal her without MPKing the person(s) doing the killing, hence blockaid isn't an issue when it comes to avoiding having her stolen.

I guess even my already close-to-nonexistant faith in the player base didn't give me the foresight to predict someone being stupid enough to get themselves killed in such a manner. I mean, even if he hadn't taken hate, was it really worth risking getting Breath'd (possibly multiple times) en route to Aery? Not that that scenario ever entered his mind, of course.

So with our first tank, the WAR (Erazor) was complaining the PLD had +ATK gear. Going all on about how his 69PLD only needed DEF and HP gear, and uses lvl10 Physical Earrings. All while having his 'Shadow Clone Jutsu' Utsu:Ichi macro.

Then, our next tank comes along with his own Utsu Macro.
