actually, ironically, i find that many of the best whm and blm out there are either galka or elvaan. it's funny. my guess is those races tend to have to try harder at their job, just due to their smaller MP pools and thus become far better at managing resources. any time i hear about "this jackass conceited idiot blm" my first words are "taru male, right? probably messy hair?" i don't think i've yet been wrong about the first question, and the second has something like a 70% accuracy rate.

Shame Best DD's are never those either, most Taru DD have the I AM A TARU SO I AM CYOOT DD LOLZ ^^ and bust out their breeze rings on their nins yumyum.

i think it's just a taru trait to be annoying. mithra eat fish, galka eat meat, elvaan get some unusual food effects, and tarus get big heads for their huge egos. is this a good time to mention i play a taru M, or did everyone already figure that out?

seriously though, melees are in a different class from mages. if a melee sucks and isn't pulling his weight, people don't tend to die. mobs don't either, but that's beside the point. it's not common to get killed b/c a shitty ass taru melee is hitting for 60% of what he should. on the other hand, if a galka whm finds himself doing a poor job on MP conservation, everyone dies. as such, they either learn to get good or they get weeded out. mage jobs, especially healing jobs, have far more of a natural selection process built in than melee jobs.

i thought that "Reward" and not "Reward:" meaning compensation for a service provided was generally known to the JP to mean what it was intended, even if it doesn't come out an english speaker might expect, similar to how "help desk" means one's subjob b/c the japanese client lists it as "support desk." while it doesn't make it right, it does make it understood, which is in stark contrast to <may><bee> which is just gibberish.

No BRD or COR, WHM and RDM probably sucked at their jobs and unless everyone's Rukenshin I'm pretty sure you'd only be making 5-6k an hour tops, knowing how super awesome pick up merit pts usually are.

Actually, like an hour later I got invited to a pick-up at Colibri which turned out to be awesome. Got the 14k to recap my xp and 4 merits on top of it. I'd much rather wait around for a party like that than join whatever comes along. Guys like that must just wait and stare at their screen while they seek, whereas people who aren't retarded do any number of things to entertain themselves in the meantime.
