Hi, i'm wanting to calculate R.ACC for my RNG, and note that the equations consider BRD song bonuses. I can't find how much of a bonus each of the Preludes give, and was wondering if any BRD or RNG experts out there know the answer please.

technically belongs in newbie, moved it here to keep the flames away
You... still... need... prelude?
It's possible that the other DD are getting min/march so the brd is taking the easiest route towards getting a proper song on the rng due to the fact that haste means shit to a rng when it comes to shooting.Originally Posted by Telamond
You need neither of preludes nor sushi?Originally Posted by Telamond
on meripo RNG rarely need it, but if you can do it in Suzaku, Byakko and Kirin w/o preludes/sushi and having good hit rate, PM me
I give it to RNGs all the time in Besieged parties. I'm happy there are songs useful to them and that they're not just stuck with melee songs.Originally Posted by Khajit
Like you said, what's a RNG going to do with haste?

I never said i needed prelude, or that i'm going to be having brd's cast prelude/minuet on me.
I was simply asking if anyone knew the numbers for my own personal education, so that when less experienced/lower lvl rng's ask what these songs do I can answer them in certain terms instead of taking guesses at figures.
A simple "no, I don't know" would have sufficed instead of suddenly going "OMFG what a n00b rng wanting prelude at 75" without having read the question properly.
And for the record (telamond), I can hit Kirin with a decent rate with my acc setup and without prelude, thank you.
By and large, bard bonus buffs are usually the same amount for similar songs.
Take a look at the wiki info for madrigrals, and I bet you can come to a quick conclusion that the #'s should be similar for Sword Madrigral/Hunters prelude & Blade Madrigal/Archers prelude. Of course, I don't think you can check con for just ranged attacks, so figuring out the precise #'s will be hard and is why the data isn't up on the wiki.

Thank you draxyl. Nice to know someone understands what i was after and didn't just dismiss it because they didn't grasp the aim of the question. I shall check the madrigal info. I rather thought the numbers would be hard to come by, which is why I had originally posted in the advance section. It would seem whoever moved it into here didn't think the same.
a friend told me that lower prelude is +15 racc and higher is +30, grain of salt I spose but it seemed pretty accurate, double prelude is nomiss land
Please post your #s if you find out anything. I'd be curious to see as well to see how much of a bonus there is.Originally Posted by sherazhina

I have no idea on the true bonus of it but like Vzx was saying its basically Sushi. Last time I did Kirin on Rng Prelude bumped my hit rate up almost 30% (48%->75ish%) I have some speculation Racc works in tiers or something and its not all Prelude/Sushi adding that huge bonus. If you use meat on something like Kirin or LBC you'll notice a horrible hit rate without Prelude/Sushi but getting them will make you almost never miss. Of course thats only two mobs with only a small sample test but I don't use Rng often....or ever.
I think as a whole, Racc and Ratk are just broken. I say this because there's too many inconsistencys and the fact that we're unable to even see our Racc or Ratk is proof of this. I think it's ridiculous that we're able to equip all of this Racc+ or Ratk+ gear but there's no visual representation of a base number it's being added on to like STR, DEX, Attack, etc.Originally Posted by Falaras
I know there's forumlas on the interweb that give a good idea of what our base Racc/Ratk are but without a base to go off of, all those numbers will ever be is a guesstimate.
This is one reason I asked Naga to test sushi against very high lv monster. AFAIK, Sig used jupon double flame ring and wyvern helm with sushi and hit kirin about 70% hit-rate. While when he used subs, ohat, p khazagand, and behe/behe+1 gave him horrible accuracyOriginally Posted by Falaras
