    Quick directx question

    Would not having the latest version of Directx cause wireless transfer speeds to slow down?

    Direct X is mainly for taking care of graphics, game programming, and things of that nature. As far as I know it has nothing to do with wireless speeds.

    It might, if you're using DirectPlay for LAN gaming, but highly unlikely.

    Ok, no then.

    I've been having 3mbit/sec max wireless transfer speeds (have a b/g/n router) for a while with this laptop and I don't know why. Last night I noticed the DX version was lower than 9.0c.
