When I first heard about this expansion I was shocked SE had the nerve to do another one so quick. After ToAU I thought it wasn't possible they would do another. They will always release and unlock expansions at this pace. Hardly having time to fine tune the old stuff, and core game mechanics. They need a arcade room in the cities and mog house. Play old square enix games while you wait for something to happen.
How about this. The next expansion could offer up from day one: a half-a-dozen (maybe more) great merit camps, a 5-15% XP bonus when fighting in expansion zones along with bonus refresh effect, regen effect, or meal duration, fast and convenient access to Jeuno, a cheap and effective system to move from areas within the expansion, a completely new system of storing your items, a BCNM-style instance battle system that rewards you with points that you could use to purchase very nice Rare/EX gear or items that you could sell for a fair amount of money because they are comparable or better than existing items, and a hat that you can quest that has 5% haste. Man, an expansion like that sure would be nice...

They could call it Treasures of Aht Urhgan.

This isn't the right place for it but damnit I have an idea for BST!

An ability, level 40 (w/e something above 37), called Monster Lure. It summons a monster based on the monsters in the zone for use by the BST that is automatically claimed to the BST with a decent amount of hate (a bit more than a flash I'd say.) The summoned mob would always be charmable and is set for different zones. For bhaflau's main area, for example, you'd get an Eruca. In the Mire you'd get a darter. The ability would NOT scale with your level, it scales depending on the zone and area in the zone. In the west of attohwa you would get a level 63ish antlion. In the east you'd get a level 35ish antlion. The summoned mob would give half xp but could continue chains. I'd say a 5m cooldown would be fair.

There, it would be damn useful in both parties (with potential to be more preferable than a 3rd or 4th war since it allows chains to never break) and solo again. It would also be hilarious for a lower level BST to use in a higher level area when he summons something he can't charm and kicks his ass in 4 hits.

Did you know that jobs besides PLD and NIN can tank exp if geared the right way?

Beastmaster mobs 'summon' their pets. Seems only fair.

Imagine a Karakul.. summons and immediatly starts throwing fleas at you. Actually how DO chigoes work on a pet karakul? do they spawn chigoes and if so do they hate you or the mob?

I've done three random melee, with at least two being /NIN, and it worked fine. Otherwise, it's not easy saying "Okay dude, you are going to tank now"... most MNKs don't want to tank.

Chigoes don't spawn when a charmed karakul weapon skills.

Uses elemental bells(which were originally plain bells, but were charged by standing on a certain terrain and being used) to cast spells, mostly elemental defensive spells like Stoneskin(main method of damage mitigation), Blink, Spikes, and etc. Also gives party buffs that work like "elemental staves" and WS Torques. Functions as a tank or acts like COR with bow and buffing party.

Hmmm... this thread might be going into a bad direction.

    Geomancers in FFTactics wielded axes

Also the party buff stuff sounds like you just came outta playing PLD on WoW @.@

Imagine the amount of situational gear you would have to carry around for a job like that

You would essentially be carrying around 2 or 3 jobs worth of gear "just in case" you end up in an environment where you needed it, else be rendered useless. Or go back to MH every time you need to change setups. Sounds like a headache.

I tank whether I want to or not on SAM...It's gotten to the point where I just invite a bunch of other melee so shit dies before the mob tears through my Third Eye >.> I static with a WHM and a BRD, so for our last PT we got 2 RNG and a COR and went to town on some birds. Good fun was had by all.

I'm sick of you and your complaining. All you do is whine and never try to make things better.

I'm getting out of here. I know there's a place for people like me, with new ideas. There has to be!

Pup is basically engineer (all engineers used knuckles except edgar) it uses "tools" that are attatched to the automaton.
