1155 can suck a dick

Okay, we got a POL update recently. They said it was possible to get certain errors, but none of them were 1155.

Whenever I try to download the update I get this:

Downloading files -> Checking files -> just as the next step is about to start I get slapped with POL-1155.

I've called the help line several times... will continue to do so.

I've tried uninstalling POL and reinstalling it... Made sure to forward several FFXI ports...

I dunno if it causes that kind of error, but you're not running windower when trying to update are you? I know that creates all kinds of problems.

If not, check firewalls and stuff, I know when a program changes since last use you have to approve it before the system will let it communicate.

I thought it could be windower, so the first thing I did was switch to normal POL. Since then, I've reinstalled playonline, so I don't even have windower now. (I hold all my windower files in my playonline folder).

The dude on the phone said I exhausted all of their solutions, but there is one thing left. Copy and pasting a PlayOnline folder over my current one.

So I ask of ye, BG forums, can someone send me their (updated) PlayOnline folder?

That should work, however, lets say you didn't have that resource available to you? They should really have another solution other than, "Copy a friends folder"

I just got home... if anyone can do it, does anyone out there want to send me that folder? I'm not sure what method we'd use.

just zip it and can use any major messenger, or aim has a "Send Folder" feature you can use too, I'd send you mine, but I get like maybe 5kbps up, so we'd be there all night.

I can try, maybe .7z (compression method) to try to make it a bit smaller then 320mb.
