There is nothing I can refute, I haven't played the game. People seem to love to bash on Sony games without playing them though.
I'll admit it's no MGS4, but people aren't treating it as one. If anyone is, they are probably a fanboy. And if you are trying to discount something a fanboy says, you are pretty much dropping to their level.

No, fuck YOU sonyHow concerned are you about possible criticisms that you should have given European consumers what SCEA has given US consumers, i.e. the option to pay a lower price?
Well, they're not really are they, because what the US are offering from the 1st of August is a USD 599 version with one game. All they're doing is taking their stock in trade that they've got at the moment of the 60GB model, marking the price down and it will all be gone by the end of July.
So once the 60GB is gone, that will be the end of the 60GB then?
In America, yes.
Price drop my ass goddamnit

Sigh, do they have to ruin shit so quickly after making it just a tiny bit better?
And Bebopaloo, the way they presented it at the conference looked much better than the trailer I watched, plus the E3 feed kept lagging for me, while watching it in HD on the ps3 didn't really impress me at all..
What's different between Guitar Hero 3 and Rockband? (other than the obvious amount and type of instruments)
You can make a band in rock band and have the same type of thing as guitar hero only with the other instruments (still have to hit notes on time), plus you can go online with the band I believe... that's pretty cool, even though I doubt i'd get it myself.
I plan on sticking with Guitar Hero III myself, because with all the peripherals that you need, Rock Band is going to be expensive as hell.
I think you can go online with it where everyone plays a different instrument, so you don't have to get all the instruments if you plan on doing the online thing.Originally Posted by Kaelan

Btw, does anyone know if either of them realeased a track list of some sort or are we not gonna get to see that till the games are actually out?
So what happens if you want to play the drums or sing? Or if you have a friend over at your house?
Same thing that happens when you have 4 friends over that want to play Wii Tennis but only have 1 controller. Go out and buy some or tough shit! But at least they have that option.Originally Posted by Pyro
I wonder if any of those instruments are worth playing alone with, like with guitar hero, or if they're only fun if you have the other instruments around/online.
Need for Speed: ProStreet looks pretty
The guitar for Rock Band has twice as many face buttons, and looks waaaay better than any of the GH guitars. Also, the people who made GH 1&2 are the ones doing Rock Band. GHIII is being made by a new studio.Originally Posted by Kaelan

I want to play rock band's drums more but GH3>rock band but..does anyone have a track list yet for rock band?Originally Posted by Deejay
To me KZ2 looks nice.
I played thru 1, so Im sure as hell, going to play the sequel
Im not a Hardcore FPS player. I have tried and dabbled in the genre here and there, but it wasnt in my gaming portfolio.
(Mostly every type of genre I have tried and still play, but RTS/Social games are a no go, for me)
To most of you BG'ers KZ 2 may look like your 555,556th rendition of another FPS coming to a console game, that maybe true, but for others its a new horizon to try out this genre. I never understood why people got into Halo/Counter Strike so much (FPS galore), I was on the Socom boat. =)
Resistance was my first real Big purchase for my PS3, and I enjoy it emensely for its over the top guns, nice storyline, and the multiplayer it has.
Do I consider to be a good purchase for me...yes, will I tell people to buy it if they ask me.....yes, but I will not shout off the mountain top that this is the best FPS ever. (No FPS will ever be, cause 1 will come out every other genereation and take the claim)
As Maxx stated so eloquently, dont go on what people are saying (you should listen to your own words Maxx, and stop preaching your Nintendo views and bash other people views towards things you dont like) and try to get a hands on feeling before saying anything.
All of us have just only seen the visuals of the games put beofre us, critics will clamor for what they find the best, and give their OPINIONS, and we as the public (gamers should) wait till the games are out, to make judgements with our $$$$$.
I didn't say that. I said don't trust videos for how good a game is going to be. Trusting hands-on previews is the way to go.Originally Posted by GraveRobberX

The graphics look extremely well done on Killzone2, i'll give it that... but what makes it different than the other 100 FPS games out there? (and i'm not a big FPS fan either, I do however try out most of them.)
And you could practically test anything you want with gamefly...
Well I dont have the option of Gamefly
(lolNYC, especially Corona, Queens; fucking Mexicans (sorry not trying to be racist), steal everything out of the mail boxes, hell I had to replace my Mail Box 5 times XD)
Lost like 5+ DVD from Columbia House
1 thing to note is how a person will purchase a system and how he/she will buy the games for it
I for example will go thru to all pro/cons, read reviews and see if I feel it is worth my $$$$, and still then will wait a few weeks to see if it has the staying power
For others they have jobs and make enough $$$$ to support their video game addiction and buy as much as possible
For others its their parents/freinds/family/whomever that will purchase the game for them

Far as I know KZ 2 will deal with elemental surroundings (I think)
The weather will play a factor on how to recognize weaknesses, and benefits accordingly
The visuals look pretty and the gameplay looks very ferocious
Most of the hype for this game is due to the Sony vs MS, (who can swing the biggest cock)
Im hyped for the multiplayer aspect, cause this game may bring something new to the genre and hopefully everyone will start out even, some will become pro quickly, some will stay in the noob infancy stage for a long time

The Wii has to really try to shed away its negatives.
As great as it is looking for the Wii, the misnomer will always stay OMFG! another Party Game.
Nintendo really needs to by TGS '07 to go to the gaming public and say "See MOTHERFUCKERS we arent only a party game oriented system, we have it all, games built for the hard core to the non-gamer"
Until then the stigma will stick with them
Same goes for Sony with no games and the "OMFG $499-599 for a f'n console"
or
Microsoft "OMFG another FPS.. for fuck sakes give me something else"
