As much as i was dreaming and hoping to get an elite and sell my premium, I can't say I'm really surprised![]()
That's incredibly dumb of them.
lol that's kind of stupid of them..
I agree.
They haven't been outselling the PS3 by that much each month, in comparison to Wii. And now the 60 gig is just about the same price as the Elite, and it has a bluray. This should be interesting
You know, Microsoft could have probably cut the price, but instead put that loss in cash towards the 3-year warrenty, which I would choose over saving $100 (then paying repairs a year later) in the long-run....
As much as I wouldn't mind having a BluRay player (for my PC, since god forbid the price-tag on a decent 720/1080p HDTV), I can't really be bothered to purchase a console that depends on it, more-so incase HD-DVD somehow wins the war.
Hio!
Bill Gates isn't the richest man in the world anymore. Can't cut prices while he's trying to catch up.

The guys a fucking genius.
Wouldnt be surprised if they cut it in a few weeks anyway.
Ps3's are selling alot faster now to, 6 sold yesterday and 4 today. So the sales are increasing alot, and the shipment of incoming ps3's hasnt slowed down.
To me is the more likely outcome. Why cut prices now?Originally Posted by Kaylia

I don't see why they need to cut the price. I'd rather them fix them so that you get a reliable product.
Technically, by "a few weeks", I had Chrismas in mind or the release of the next big game. I should have said in a couple of month. There is no reason to drop it right now, but the extended warrenty is not a counter measure to Sony's price drop.Originally Posted by Correction
