It's a mental exercise, and also knowing the nature of devs, a useful one. S-E has folks reading the boards. That feedback gets (hopefully, S-E seems to be good as MMORPG companies go for taking if not always using) fed back into the developers at some level, Sage Sundi gets his requisite "Wut?" in and a filtered version of that speculation we put up gets registered. That's one way how (however dimly) the desires of the playerbase are put into the system.

Heck, you know the ZAM folks are brainstorming this too. Would you honestly want the only discussion coming from the kiddy pool of the FFXI gaming sites? KI?

All this talk of geomancer and i think alot of people are forgetting the elemental summons

I however do like the talk of using crystals for the geo's power.

Now, give the geomancer no inate mp, but let them use the crystals to power the elemental summonens.

Give the elementals some better spells, and... oh hell, i dont know.

They could maybe something like assassin. A Nin Rng mix. Built around on Low delay weapons and speed. Would be something different, that doesn't mean adding to many new things in to the game.

Go go Enforcer new tank job! It has fastcast stoneskin that casts in 0.1 second and takes a max of 1000 dmg, it also has enmity+ regen and special 30 second JAs that last for 2mins that give 200% exp bonus. O:

Personally I want to see a Sasquatch job. Think Umaro from FFvi. No job abilities, all you do is attack or throw your party members at mobs. Maybe you can summon a Moogle or something, toss him around.

It'd be that much cooler if the party member you threw ended up on top of the target mob (i.e. actually moved). Same if they upgraded DRG Jump to do the same.

Umaro is basically FFV's Berserker class, where they have high damage, but you get zero control over what they do.

Nothing like a PT trying to setup an SC and your toon hits Circle Blade in the middle of it.

Player tossing would be an interesting ability. Maybe it could be a way to give hate to a specific player atop doing damage? And an Overthrow to lower hate on others?

Imagine the Ballistas of players tossing tarus back and forth at each other.

We actually have that job class in the game already, but it is currently capped at level 65. Check it out.
