Hard to tell, if you look at the hills and land only it does resemble it, but god that's quite the change from current Vana'diel, unless some major event occurred there that wiped the land of the majority of it's vegetations and trees.......NEEDS MORE WINDMILL!


SE better go back to base-FFXI/RoZ/CoP and make the skies as gorgeous as these ones, god I hate walking to the Dunes or into Riverne and see a massive blurred pixelated glob of crap.

I never got why Riverne got all fucked up. Was it because of Bahamut making his home there after he woke up?

It was probably because of the spreading emptiness. But really, I don't understand why they didn't put the Riverne sites on the other map, turned the maps 180 degrees, and say that space is all messed up and everything is all floaty there because that was where the force that the Lightbringer generated when it tore the Tavnazian Peninsula off of the rest of the continent obliterated space-time also causing level caps or something along those lines. It would make a lot more sense story-wise.

Pretty much, it's said that Bahamut has the power to control time and space, and he pretty much made the Riverne area his Aery (hence the "Monarch Linn" in the center)

I'm pretty sure the CS when you started CoP 2-5 had Prishe or Ulmia going "WTF happened here!" indicating that the cape riverne only become that way after bahamut's arrival.

This looks suspiciously like that one like in Lufaise Meadows. I wonder if Prishe will be involved in the expansion...

It looks like a view form that small island right at the entrance of davoi where that wooden structure is. So this picture is behind that structure looking toward the entrance where there is the path and the elvaan hiding behind the tree.
