I've been watching Blitz Ring on ffxiah for weeks now hoping to get one and sell for profit but not a single one has been put up.

Just did 14216 damage in DL in 45 seconds using Relic scythe as weapon. It wasn't a flawless engagement either, I bet I could pull another 3k out easy but our pull wasn't clean.

Isnt the average attacks per round for Kraken 4.5?

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 are all equally likely, and (1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8)/8 is 4.5

I've done 22K through his 2hr with kraken.

Wouldn't doubt that for a second, but a single swinging Scythe doing comprable numbers is pretty sick. Add a B.Z. to that, with a full 2hr and I bet 20k is easily in reach. Add that to the fact that most 20k runs are done with 2k HP+. My K.Club will still get use (JoL for instance) but with the ability to achieve insane haste numbers its not the end all zerg weapon like it once was thought to be.

Any opinions on a Frenzy Sallet for an Octave 72 DRK? The latent is a 99 tick HP drain per 3 seconds; but with someone spamming Cure II/III on you, would be mitigated for zerg duration.

With Sallet and /DRG you could hit 20% haste, 16% if you didn't have SV and used Haste Belt.

I used to vendor this ring all the time doing tails of woe. Checked FFXIAH histories across servers, looks like bahamut spiked up a lot to 200k, Asura's has been floating around 40k for a while now.

I agree, regardless of who/what is really correct I found this thread to be interesting. It really sparked my interest in my Bahamut's Scythe again, that was previously collecting dust with my moogle.

Yes, Aurik corrected me on this mistake after my initial posts. I just never went back and re-adjusted the equations or used it for the following equations since I already did all the math based off an average of 4.

Curious what gear you were using here? I mean no offense but your HP seems rather low for a SE/BW zerg, and in the case of DL and using Scythe you can replace a lot of Acc slots with HP/Haste. In which case I think you should be able to get a little more haste and a good deal more HP out of your gear.

On that topic I'm actually shooting for 3k HP just for fun one day lol. Highest I've hit so far was ~2830 HP I think on a DL a few weeks ago, without Mantra and missing a few better pieces of HP gear.

It was using almost exclusively HP gear, but including magic haste I still had ~60% haste at the time. Browsing through recent shots the last picture I have is of 2772 HP, where I had a partially resisted Drain II that cut me short of the extra HP. I can post a pic later if people want, but getting ready to call it a night shortly.

But yeah, it's just all basic HP gear + DS Drain II in Dark Magic gear to start + HP food. I think I was hitting for about 335, but didn't get an accurate read out on my total damage since it was a messy fight.

Actually if you wouldn't mind some suggestions (just IMO) I think you have more than enough acc, especially using Apoc, to both ditch more accuracy for HP and/or probably eat HP food as well. Or well, at least assuming you have Feint. With club and almost no gear accuracy aside from like, homam pieces and stuff, I'm usually at around ~80-88% on DL. I think that using Apoc especially you should just about hit the Acc cap without any trouble.

Adding on a Drain II right before it'd probably bump you up to around 2-2.4k HP, adding a good 36-84 damage per hit with Apo. With should add a rather substantial amount of damage.

I'm missing Fenrir's Stone, Intruder Earring, and the HQ version of the HP shield. Also as I said I basically went all out on HP for fun/experimental purposes, using stuff like Shield Pendant and Forest Sash. I also use Chaos Helm for Souleater, no luck getting the other alternatives! What is Rho neck though?

And yeah, I Drain II for a good 450-600 HP unresisted. I switch to full dark magic gear (305 dark skill, +14 magic acc, pluto's staff) and Dark Seal it right as we pull. My base HP before this is about 2300 or so.

Out of curiousity, were you also sub mnk?

My hp is only about 1650 before food (only 1 hp merit though) sub nin 2700 hp is pretty crazy.
I'm almost tempted to get the dark obi for Dynamis Lord now... +20% to my Drain II guaranteed >.>
