I'm excited, me (RDM) and two BLM friends had just decided to set up a perma for this and MNK and our first go is tonight.

We were told you didn't need +movement either and that the Animosity person disbands (we'd all disband since it's three) and runs to the Fort room.

Since it's three of us, I plan to have one person go ahead and sleep / log everything on the way. The Animosity follows and kites around the room, and invites people as they get back. The third person Diagaing the Qn's and taking to zone.

Also, if I can talk them into it... Might try DRG, same strat. But I'm the only one who can really use that cape. (NIN and BRD 75 but they are only BLM and upcoming RDM) Hehe.

Kiting it in the place where you pop fort is by far the harder way imo.

But, if you just have a BLM -ga the babies and haul ass to the porter they will lose aggro and go back to the ??? run safely around and get back to the rdm/nin. A good rdm can keep himself alive the entire fight. Just zone nuke IX at the entrance to the gardens.

When you pull hate and zone, that gives the rdm time to rebuff etc if he/she has too. all the RDM does is kite etc. Nothing big.

Anyone have an idea what the drop rate is like? I assumed 100% until someone said no drop above ; ;

Drop rate on cape: with my LS anyways, close to 45% or so. we have 4 capes from IX' drk. got 2 before wihin an hour. All depends on luck really.

It's really random. My current ls got 4 capes in a row when we wanted the jailer pop item. I've heard of people going 1/10ish.
