and oh ya, ive lost alot of weight too since august, i weighed 233 at the start, and now i weight 210 and most of it is muscle weight, what i do a shitton of weightlifting on one day, then the next i started out walking a mile, then after like a month jogged the mile, and now im easily running the mile so just basically cardio and weightlifting alternative days, and i take a supplement called NO-Xplode (taking naNO Vapor now) which both work well
I've done the 300 workout thing but I just used 2 free weights. The weights seem to be more about balancing your body when your legs are out to the side so you don't tip over, plus you have to stabilize the weights with your arms a bit too. The problem with ab workouts for me is that I have to do mix up a bunch of different techniques (weight on chest situp, bicycle crunch thing, 300 style, regular situp) into 1 continuous workout or else it gets boring and I give up because its taking too long to feel like I'm getting a work out. What is the 1 hardest Ab workout possible with free weights or no weights that I can do (no upside down situps either)

I use the decline situp bench, holding a 45-pound weight. 3 sets of 12 of that and I'm fucking burning. Stomach muscles are just like any other - if you want them to get bigger, you need heavy weight and low reps.

oh my god those things are fucking killer. i did 2 sets of 12 and a set of 8 with a 10 pound weight, couldnt work my abs for 4 days and i was cramming protein that whole time. and when i went to do it again i only got through a set of 10 and a set of 7 before it started hurting as much as it did the first time i did it. so....moral of the story, start lower a lot lower than thatl

ya the decline bench one is a good one, there is another good one at my gym (Lifetime Fitness) dunno if they have those where you are, its pretty expensive (64.90 a month) but to me its worth it, they have this machine that you set your weight and climb into it, there is a place at the bottom where you put your feet almost like your doing leg extensions, then there are 2 bars above you, and its like a sitting down crunch, its hard to explain lol but its pretty good

Hmm, I don't have a bench to do incline situps on, I guess I could pull my bed off the foundation and do them that way and find some way to anchor my feet/legs down so I don't fall off. What angle are the benches usually on? When you are doing those situps should you go for speed both up and down or slowly so there is more control up and down.

i think mine was probably a 45 degree decline...maybe 50, 55ish, but yeah. speed isnt going to mean shit if you arent doing good, solid reps. pay close attention to each one, dont half ass it, and be consistent.

You may have read this article already, but if you have not, give it a shot. Hope it helps: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/water.htm
I had not read this article before; thanks for bringing it to my attention. Im going to try adding more fiber to my diet (metamucil? lol), using the sauna at my gym and go to a fake-n-bake. Ill have to start eating more "berries" (as it says) though too, which Im totally ok with. I know some fruits can be a decent source of fiber too so maybe I can kill 2 birds with 1 stone.
