Not a single mention about FFXI. Surprised!
Technicaly, considering they're talking about making MMOs mainstream, FFXI wouldn't be the best example of that.Originally Posted by BRP

FFXI is at least the third most popular (pay, at least) MMO outside China/bad Asia/etc, though I could have lost track. It belongs to one THE top names in videogames, and from my little knowledge of what happened at E3 was the only MMORPG game to get any real spotlight and release information.
So many people have quit FFXI that I don't think they care anymore.
Whether or not that's true, the market audience is mainly made up of those who haven't played yet.Originally Posted by Exoduso
And it is odd it wasn't mentioned, given that MMOs like FFXI and WoW and such are mainstream. The FF series, especially.
lol@ Bad Asia.
And yet, it's still one of the top MMORPGs in the world. I know some people can be like 'baww, FFXI sucks, I played it', but that's an opinion, I'm talking facts. It doesn't make any sense. So many people have quit FFXI that I don't think they care anymore.
If people on FFXI did crazy things as wow people apparently did I'd assume it would be on the news a lot.Originally Posted by BRP
