I personally liked the old ways. I don't think everything should be nerfed, I'm just saying I liked the way the game was played back then. Too much emphasis on exp per hour and not enough on having fun, working together, or learning your damn job.
The mindset for the newer players is:
Sub NIN, eat sushi, hit mob. I'm a DD.
PLD {No thanks}, haste, cure, raise. I'm a healer.
Refresh, haste, dia II, cure, raise. I'm a RDM.
I like to look at the good in things. I can see some good coming out of boosting mobs: It could slow the rate of the dumbasses, like Sliver, getting to 75.

Let me put it this way. A WAR/NIN Dual Wielding Tabarzins and no Suppanomimi, with the same ATK and fSTR as a Triton's Scythe wielding DRK, has a DPS advantage of over 14% before you factor DA, Offhand multi-hit weapons, Haste bonuses, etc.
