Seems I was wrong, I admit d.feet (lulz).
Try this:

I'm positive that will fix it ;/
I'm gonna go and take a stab in the dark that he uninstalled his DVD authoring software/playback.
Depending on your Windows version, you probably currently do not have any DVD playback software on your machine; the software you had you uninstalled.
It's rare that you will remove a driver from software add/remove unless it's a peripheral; printer, MP3 player etc.
Try a music CD in your drive. That should bring up Windows Media Player or your preferred music player and play the disk. No additional software or codecs required.
Google 'Free DVD Player' should give you some software download options.
EDIT:O.o never come across that before. Sounds a match too.Originally Posted by Cjskater

If you are using blizzard's torrent style downloading, it does take forever. I would suggest going to a site like torrentspy.com and using a program like uTorrent and downloading it that way.
Also, you can open up ports 6881-6889 on your router, that will speed things up. (At least with torrents)
