I've always assumed the ES follows the 95% accuracy cap that the game seems to apply for everything. Time to see if I can sneak my ghetto BLM sub up the range to see Jormy![]()

Elemental Seal maybe follow different rules, i know i've had it resisted at rare occasions before.
And haha good job at the pics in this thread, hilarious :D

Lolz. Didnt dare to go check on Jormy, was up yesterday when we did Brothers.
I do believe that I have seen Shinjin resist enfeebles cast with Elemental Seal. (But that has more to do with Square hating Red Mages than the potency of Elemental Seal...)
One of the all BST linkshells (lotb?) did 2 75BST/37BLMs for the CoP 8-2 pot fight. Elemental Seal sleepga worked.
This is correct...Originally Posted by Septimus

had a pld/blm landing es+bind on a small-group hakutaku when he accidently went /blm and was too lazy to change. bind landed whenever he did it, didn't really pay attention to how long it lasted though.
I've seen a WHM/BLM land ES+Sleep I on Jorm, didn't resist once when he tried.
Works, and sticks for full duration and all. We did the fight with NIN, WAR, BST/BLM, BRD, WHM, MNK, and the WHM and BST provided enough sleep to do it relatively easily. Killed 3.5 pots, had to wipe, then got up and finished the last one off.Originally Posted by solsovly

No one wanted my 48WAR, so I decided to give this a shot. No spells set or anything, very interesting.
Seems to me that ES bypasses all resistance except for innate/trait resistances such as elemental's 100% resistance to spells of their element, and shijin innate high% resistance to any enfeeble at all.
Therefore any mob without innate or trait resistance should be suceptible to ES+enfeeble all the time.
I guess this statement makes Chiz correct, in the sense that SA and TA can sometimes miss...Originally Posted by Allundaria
