Is it known yet what the odds are of breaking the chip?

I broke mine after using it about 3 times, yet I've heard reports of people never breaking them ever. I assume the odds increase when you use the same chip/telepad multiple times a day since mine broke when I used the same chip/telepad twice with only 2 hours in between.

How many did you repair, also do you always tele from the same one?

At first I only repaired one (mea) but after it broke I've repaired a second one (mea+holla) and alternate between them making sure I don't use the same one twice in the same JP day (haven't broken it since).
