It's not exactly the French...
Where you are in the globe does not change where you come from, this is sickening. I'd rather see a million dead people than one dead dog.
or a million people with fish hooks through their face to make it more pertinant to the OP picture.
Typical of someone who doesn't grasp the concept of human suffering. What are you, 17, single and have never known a dead person?Originally Posted by Skyylya

That's a better sight to you than a dog with a hook in its mouth for unknown reasons? You're jumping to conclusions that the photo is connected to any kind of animal cruelty.
My nation has been proudly hating the French for over a thousand years thanks.Originally Posted by Cheerios

I fully grasp the concept of human suffering, what you do not seem to grasp is that I care more for a creature that does not suffer from the human condition of slaughtering it's own kind for no reason other than how they look or whether or not they subscribe to the same religion. I don't like people, they are arrogant, ignorant and generally not worth being around. i have never met a dog that made me feel the way about them that I do about people.
Regardless of what this picture itself portray's, there are more instances of animal cruelty than just this. And i'm not some PETA freak either I could care less about them. I just like dogs more than people.
And i'm not a rebel or an anarchist or whatever you might conclude from this, it really is just as simple as me liking dogs more than people. Kinda paradoxical considering I like helping people, but that doesn't mean I have to like them while doing it.
Your very unhappy aren't you?Originally Posted by Skyylya
Anyways those dogs prob suffer less from getting eaten by a shark then living with some kid that does random shit to it.
Heh, I never said I was going to kill people. Million's of people die every day and the world doesn't care, why is it so different when someone actually verbalizes that they don't care? My life revolves around people I know, when one of them dies i care but in all reality that's pretty much the extent of it. Can you really say you're any different?Originally Posted by Volken
Edit: I'm not an unhappy person, i'm not particularly happy either. I'm more happy now than I used to be, but happiness really has nothing to do with it. It's really just my perspective on this situation is realistic. I don't feel the need to fool myself that I care about every living person in the world to feel good about myself. I have people that I care about and people that care about me, If that circle expands it'll include those people. I'm not heartless either, I just don't really concern myself with stuff that in all reality doesn't affect me.
No one is fishing for sharks with live dogs you fucking twits.
I never implied you were going to kill people or that I cared about dead people I don't know... it's the "I'd rather" part. If you don't like people, you're a sociopath. A dogs worth doesn't even come close to a human life, and now I'm going to kill a dog just because of you saying this stuff.Originally Posted by Skyylya

I like my pet and hate serial killers? Brilliant. You're right, it was silly of me to think of my own worth to be above an animals because there's people in the world that hate me.Originally Posted by Amarok
that's more psychotic than anything i've said. A life only holds value to the person that percieves it. i.e. I don't care about ants either, they are alive but they're lives are worthless so we step on them and crush their hills. Fish are worthless and i go fishing and eat them. It's all perspective, i'm not going to step on people or go fishing for them or eat them, but that doesn't change the value i place on that life.Originally Posted by Volken
You value you're own life because it's your own life. how many nights sleep have you lost for all the other people in the world that die you do not know. Probably none.Originally Posted by Volken
You clearly didn't understand what I said.Originally Posted by Volken
I get it, my little dog is worth more to me than a million people I'll never know! While it's a cute thing to say, if you really mean it, you have problems.Originally Posted by Amarok
Doesn't mean I have problems, just means I have a different perspective than you. Ask anyone that knows me and they'll tell you that i'm a well adjusted person who just views things differently. I'm not psychotic, i'm perfectly sane in my own perspective on life, i'm intelligent, driven if not un-motivated. I have a stable life, a good job, a good woman, two awesome dogs, hobbies and a future worth finding out. Despite the value I place on people i'm perfectly normal.
See, you don't understand what I said and you're taking to incomparable extremes in order to try and be correct. If I were to follow your example I could say what is 1 human life compared to millions of animal lives?
Just because you personally have some vendetta against people who don't share your opinion on the value of people they do not know doesn't mean that same person would chose one animal's life over one million human lives.
Of course you're perfectly free to have your own perspective, but it doesn't mean your perspective can't be wrong.
Vendetta against people who don't share your opinion on the value of people? Explain to me in your next post how a psychologist/therapist would diagnosis someone as being a sociopath. My value on human worth is pretty broad and worldly. Just because someone says they believe something, doesn't mean that actually believe it? We're on the internet in case you forgot.Originally Posted by Amarok
