    3) Should BLMs only nuke/RNG only shoot at the end in a straight tank strategy, or should they nuke earlier on also. If earlier on, what would you say is a decent "pace" for BLM damage?

    4) How does your group get to the second half of Archaic Gear mobs?

Thanks again for taking your time to check this out and reply. We're serious about getting this done right and with some adjustments I'm confident we can bring it down in the near future.
    1) No, its like any other fight, Cure V is great after missile or a nasty double/triple attack, but people should be throwing Cure IIIs to keep your tanks topped off at all times.

    2) Yes, having your MNK Hundred Fist early, when the Chariot is weaker, works nicely. It will cement hate and help your fight pace.

    3) If your MNKs are out-putting DMG (have them tank in full DD gear, it works fine), there's no reason why your Ranger shouldn't be dealing some heavy damage. Your BLM, it depends on your party makeup; if you think you are light on healing, have your BLM assume a support role.

    Re: LBC Strategy recap

Im in Deimos' salvage group; stunning as it turns is as simple if not more simple than stunning it as HM appears in the log. We merely prevent the situation from ever happening as opposed to stopping the situation as it develops; both are fine imo if you have a BLM main stunning, if you're using a RDM/DRK then perhaps you should wait until you see it in the log, assuming it does build resistance which I can't deny nor confirm.

Only word of caution I have about RNG is not to pull hate. I've pulled hate off our MNK and Kikoku NIN as the fight progresses on /NIN with Sushi. Probably half a product of doing decent damage and half from not taking any damage like the MNK and NIN are.

Yeah, from what I read in the other thread it only seemed to change from 7 > 10... it's in there if ya feel like digging it up on the specifics.

Getting the party through the center room without aggro/death is a miracle.

We just have someone with flee or a quencher aggro the room and train south while everyone runs through.

It's easy, and here's how you do it!

Hug zi walls. At most you should get 1 trip gear set.

I got 11 people through the pattern gear room in Zhayolm yesterday, lol. The center of 4F Bhaflau is nothing compared to that.

The triples have a pretty small aggro range. We usually don't have a problem since you can sneak past the chariot. Usually we have time to kill a triple gear to make the room a bit easier.

I'm a bit curious as to why the lbc has his own thread; is he the hardest of the chariots, my salvage group is rather new but we won on our 2nd attempt at him. should i expect easier or harder from the others?

Easier, but all 4 charriot can wipe an unprepared group on their first/2nd fight. You need to be ready to deal with Charm spam on LAC, and discoid can rapes you if your positioning isn't perfect against in zhayolm.

I think LBC is just a bit more popular because it was the first Chariot that most groups attempt. The fact that it completes Morrigan and Ares body too helps a bit.

Our group is making another attempt tonight. Thank you again to those who contributed to this thread.

SS from Stromgarde in our Salvage group.

We weakened LBC via killing the 10 gears. Hell, we -wanted- Homing Missle to go off compared to its other moves.

Completed Marduk hands and 2/3 on Ares body. Thanks again to everyone who answered my questions and gave their advice on the kill.

Nice, grats on the kill, we need a Phobo's Cuirass for completed Ares's Body lol.
And yea, weakened Homing Missile hit my RDM for exactly 135 dmg. Fully weakened missile just tank in the front. 8)
