It just seems really cheap, to me. 300k is cheap. Like I said, my condo is 300k and I can afford that as a single guy living alone. I wouldn't be able to afford an actual house. Low end track housing might be 400k-500k, with 600-700k being more common in many of the new developments that are going up all over the place aimed at middle-class families. An actual standalone house with a yard and neighbors you can't touch by reaching out your window would be 700k+. If you head far enough away from the city, you'll see some really nice neighborhoods with attractive houses and nice yards that still go for 1 million+ despite how far away they are from anything.

Redmond area is homes upwards of 500k. I advertise for homes in that area that cost well over 1mil lol
