That is so true, That would be a good idea to help people i know there is car buying guides out there. Most are from shoppers though, To get inside a car salesmen would be more of a reasons to listen to them.

I used to play this in computer class a lot, mainly cause you don't have to download it and you play against actual other people:

I found out about it because it used to be on Bonus.com and the teachers at my school shown us that site. We all used to go on the same map and try to kill each other.![]()
Just something i thought up, Not sure if it's a book.
Bored at work for 3 more hours. Haha funny, I also work at a car dealership. It's nice being able to pay invoice for cars just cause I work here. :D
Just got off work myself, last call of the night took over an hour and a half... *falls over dead X_x*
are you a salesperson or in some other department?Originally Posted by Ddz
and to be honest, you can get a better deal on a car if you don't work there than if you do. Sure being able to get them at i think 1% over invoice is normal employee pricing, you can buy it at invoice or lower, and talk them down on a bunch of dealership fees and crap.

Nah I just work at the front desk. My dad and uncle also work here, lol. They're the ones that work on the used cars & figure out how much is spent on them etc. So I know exactly how much they're taken in for and how much money gets spent on them before they are ready for show on the lot. So I pretty much paid exactly what was traded.Originally Posted by Skyylya
If that's not a great deal I'm not sure what is.
Ddz, u lazy. Btw I want some of dem nachos still.
oh my god rofl I couldn't even finish them all. Then I drank a pitcher of beer and owned my friend at air hockey, darts, and pool. There was some shitty trivia game at the bar too which was mildly entertaining. Someone's team name was PEN15. Then we went bowling and my buddy owned me by 3 pointsOriginally Posted by Bebopaloo

you guys and your sit on your butt jobs make me sad
now my job is pretty dang easy... im a team lead at a call center, so all i really have to do is help the other techs help the moron customers... (techs are morons sometimes too...) and approve escalations, and take over calls if a customer is asking for a supervisor.... now if we get back logged on calls and all i have to go back to the phones and deal with stupid mcretard setting up his dsl service... but hey its 13.25/hr for me when im a team lead so its not too bad amirite? it pays the bills and gets the skills for a better job (im hoping tier2 at some point) so im on my feet most of the night (4pm - 1am) and dont really get too much time to sit at my cube/pc... although i DO have one, the only time i really get to see it is when im clocking out for breaks/lunch/going back on the phones...
My job is really something spectacular.
I work for a financial company that gives out loans for people who wanna do elective surgeries for things that aren't covered by insurance.
A lot of it is cosmetic, dental, orthodontic, hair restoration, vision correction....stuff like that. But I don't have to deal with idiotic customers, we have a whole other building for customer service. My job title is 'account representative' which means I am responsible for taking care of about 1100-1200 medical practices across the country who are signed up to offer our loans to their patients. On average I do about 30-40 phone calls a day both incoming and outgoing to help practices that have questions about stuff regarding their account.
So, I sit in my cubicle, schedule my calls for the day, train people on how to use our online software, help them fill out paperwork, open new offices if they are already a pre-existing account, and generally maintain that relationship with the practice. My practices right now do about 1.1-1.2 million dollars worth of business every month that i'm responsible for.
Where i'm at right now is the entry position, everyone who starts working here starts as an account rep, then after you learn the company and phone techniques you get moved up into sales as a practice consultant. That's where the big bucks are made. I get a commission on every loan that a practice i've signed up does on TOP of my 30k/yr salary that I get as an account rep. Right now the lowest paid consultant is getting like 45-55 in that range and the highest are above 150k/yr. A lot of it depends on what segment they work in and how long they've been here.
But I can be expected to get promoted in about 2-3 months probably as my company is the fastest growing in our industry. It's pretty sweet, I work 40 hours a week with 0 overtime, and i have weekends off, all holiday's, a bunch of paid sick day's, paid vacation day's. And a very laid back working environment.
It's a bunch of ppl like age 24-30 working here all went through college and have at least a bachelors. We've got a softball team which is fun and starts this fall and we also just started a bowling league for wed nights. Very fun place to work and a ton of upside.
9 million times better than being a scumbag car salesman :D
/Cheer on that one bro .
Another day of work....hi
