It slows down productivity a little bit but I find overall it increases sales, as I actually get through to decision makers more often (secretaries generally don't hang up on me, whereas from an automated calling device they probably would).

Haha you know, if a secretary ever hangs up on you (especially rudely) just call back and ask to speak to her manager. That kind of shit can get you fired. Especially if you pretend to be a customer.
