I'm also excited to see how dexter will get out of this, plus he has Lundy closing in on the him as well.

I never saw the head butt coming, was awesome. Cant wait until this Sunday.
This season has been pretty good imo. I really can't wait to see how he handles Lundy, you know other than just having his sister f*ck his brains out.
pretty awsome turnaround. i knew there were only a few episodes left and was wondering if the series was gonna end with dexter getting caught, but i noticed in the previews they said 3 episodes till season finaleyay
Is there anywhere to watch the episodes already shown?
I was watching them on YouTube at the beginning of the season, but the guy that was posting them stopped![]()
SPOILERS OF LAST EP
Pretty awesome episode yesterday, I didn't expect Dokes to find Dexter at the end at all (I thought it was a dream again), Dokes is pretty badass. Is this season following the storyline of one of the books like it did last season?
S2 is original material as far as I know. I miss the playful nature of season 1, but thats not to say s2 isn't good.
For original material (it's not totally original, it does take some things from the books) this is really well done. Season 2 has been amazing through and through. Although I miss the (relative) simplicity of season 1 these episodes have been keeping me on the edge of my seat. Can't wait to see where this goes.
The writing in this show is amazing with how it is a constant build of suspense. Every episode ends with a huge twist that makes you desperate to see what happens. Dexter is extremely well played by MCH. S1 was based on the first book of the Dexter series but season 2 is completly original. Ive read all 3 books in the series and none of them have any material that this season is basing it on.
I cant wait for each new episode and the season finale.
Isn't Lundy in the books? As well as doakes hounding Dexter until (epic spoilarz) happens to him? I'm not saying they're using the books as closely as S1, but I'm pretty sure theres material in this season similar to what happens in the books.Originally Posted by sephir
I do love Michael Hall as Dexter though, the last 10 mins were so good. I CANNOT WAIT FOR NEXT SUNDAY!
Lundy is never in the books.
As for Doakes following Dexter, he does follow Dexter for the beginning of the second book but within the first 50 pages stops. He is kidnapped and well something happens to him that permanently stops him from chasing Dexter.
So Doakes following him is in the books, but thats about it.
I just hope they kill the psycho bitch. Her scenes with the "I can see through you!" are unbearable.Originally Posted by sephir
Lundy in the books I wasn't sure about, but I was sure about the Doakes thing, which is probably why they opted to do original material. That's just way to depressing to do him lolOriginally Posted by sephir

Holy fucking shit! I love you!Originally Posted by Dezzimal
yeah, i have been addicted to this show for some time, and just finished watching the last two episodes of the season and was utterly blown away, pun intended a littlebut yeah, michael c. hall is simply amazing, and just the whole damn thing... im still sort of processing it, but that was seriously some of the most awesome and amazing television i have seen in a long time. now i want to go back and watch season one again lol.
Season 3 is confirmed, but I have no clue when its going to be aired.
Dexter has seriously spoiled my standards for rating good TV. I wish everything could be this good. Hearing season 3 confirmed is good, I wish they made a season longer than 12 episodes though.Originally Posted by Martinius
yeah, sucks almost as much as getting 10 amazing episodes of 'burn notice' and then being told it will be a fucking YEAR until season 2 lol.
but yeah, dexter and battlestar galactica pretty much set my standards of tv awesomeness, tho i am subject to the guilty pleasures of 'bones' and 'how i met your mother.' it's the whedonverse in me lol.
I'm not sure which season I liked more. I think season two was absolutely amazing at some parts, but it seemed like other parts dragged on and on. Overall though I think season two is a much more interesting season with overall better acting. Michael C. Hall in episodes 10 and 11 of season 2 deserve some sort of nomination.
"It's over when I say it's over!" was such a perfectly delivered line...
