NIN/SAM/RNG/BLM75, Used to be the Leader of Yojimbos LS.

I'm a member of Yojimbos, and I can safely say there's nothing shady about Minnich's transfer. Our LS has been going through some rough times lately, and Minnich no longer felt like he could lead us. I'm sure anyone who's ever tried can agree that it's very difficult to go from leading a shell to just being a member, and he didn't find any other ls on Valefor he was interested in, so he decided to leave the server. I'm sure you'll get somewhat mixed perceptions of him in this topic, as the leader of a HNMLS he naturally had some people who disliked him, but I think the majority of people who did only had cursory knowledge of him.

I can only give you my personal opinion, and that is that he was an excellent leader, and is a player who takes pride in doing well. If you accept him to your linkshell I can guarantee you he will do his best for the linkshell.

Minnich may be a complete dick at times, but atleast he got stuff done. I don't like Minnich and probably never will, but he isn't a bad player. Hes a dick to get ppl to come to events since that seems to be the only way at most times. Not to mention Aedan you got M.body and did not show up for much while I was in the LS(One of the first few on server). I think you're a nice guy, but Minnich had every right to hate you.

it was mostly stuff like this that irked me and really put me off to the shell. This was me missing Dynamis because of work.

Minnich has been around for a long, long time, and as the leader of an active endgame shell, has certainly made a few enemies along the way. As such there are several drama items related to Minnich, and he has made some extremely poor decisions.

On the whole, though, he is a skilled player and from what I've seen does a fine job with all of his jobs. He has his strategies down, and has proven himself quite capable in a leadership role.

That being said I don't care much for the guy. He's always come off as arrogant to me at least, and very self-absorbed. As leader of my own linkshell, given what I know about him I most likely wouldn't accept him into my linkshell. However, since you don't have to worry about Valefor drama, or any of the typical stigmas that would accompany that, it's probably gonna be a tougher call in your case. If your linkshell offers a trial period, I think that would certainly be a good chance to gauge what kind of personality he is.

Seph, you don't like me because I got you being a dirty snake and a liar. You still lie about it, in fact. I kicked you because everyone wanted me too, and you were a horrible member. My one regret in this game was letting you lot MBody.

And that SS you posted was you straight up skipping Kirin to level NIN when we needed another PLD. That was your first warning, and eventually you did end up getting kicked just as everyone expected.

Im one of the 3 sackholders that Minnich left behind when he abandoned Yoji. Minnich wasnt a good leader by any means, but he was a perfect fit to lead Yoji which is filled with some of the biggest egos and emos our server has to offer. Minnich got the job done tho, thats the bottom line. At its peak, he ran the most efficient and dominate NA HNMls. He was kinda emo and also an asshole, but that may have been a byproduct(sp) of his demanding position.

Yoji has this rule where members are required to return all non r/e gear. This quote is from Minnich, from his quitting thread:

If anyone says i should give back ANY gear I have... fuck off. If you can tell me one person that deserves this shit more than me, I'll call you a liar. (although all I really have left is osode and cerb mantle).

Thats just the sellable stuff of course. 5/5 God gear. Shura head/body/legs. Off the top of my head i cant think what else. But 12 days after returning from BMT (was gone 2 months) he wanted to lot both justice and hope torques. He also declared we would be upgrading his GKT after we completed the shells 1st shield.

Hmmm what else, oya, he will refuse to play his BLM.

He migrated with a member's alky bracelets. This could have been an innocent mistake.

O, heres another neat quote from his final thread:

In conclusion, my opinion obviously isnt objective. But Minnich isnt a monster. Hes one of the better NINs ive played with and he does great damage as SAM. He knows multiple strats for all BCNM/Dyna/HNMs etc. He ran the best NA shell on the server for a long time. As a normal member, youd probably be getting a very talented player who is already well equipped. But consider that w/e his reason, Minnich abandoned everyone who needed him, trusted him, and respected him. He did it out of the blue, without any indication. It would be far easier to bounce from your shell after 90 days too.

Yea, I was waiting for this post. You are about as bitter as anyone I've ever met. I don't know where you get off being like this to me. I've never ever been an ass to you. I've even helped you keep you and your friends together when you broke your LS.

People keep referring to me as an ass hole, but this was merely me as a leader. Sadly, the LS would only respond to that type of leadership.

As for your quotes.. hm let's see here. When was the last time we've actually abided by the "if you quit LS, you return your gear thing?" Only reason I even said it was as a joke because of the last 2 threads we had about Robbb and Catha leaving. You forget to mention the part where I used to have Novio earring and gaiters, but gave them to other members because they deserved them more since I didn't play BLM much at that point. And yes me having Zel's alky's was a huge accident; I logged off with them in MH after JoL and then server xferred the next day--if anyone knows a way to get an item back to another server plz post/PM and let me know.

As for refusing to go BLM to events, that was simply because we had like 12 and I had no gear for it. However, if asked to in my new LS, I am more than willing. I've already started selling the 100 byne bills I've worked hard to get simply to re-equip my blm.

The "find LS that bots" quote was also quite a sarcastic comment. You know me well enough to realize that I joke around 90% of the time. The other 10% was when I was leading events.

I understand you are upset you are left in a tough situation being a sackholder in a shell that's in a lot of confusion, but honestly why even take that out on me? Because I want to have fun in the game once again? All I want to do now is find an LS and just relax as a regular member and kill stuff.

I've only been in Yojinbou since February but from what I can tell Minnich is a great player.

Yes, a little rough around the edges but funny, skilled, and really well equipped on all of his jobs minus blm. Only because he chose to give up his Novio earring to another blm in the shell.. He could have just kept it and said F blm but im keeping the novio, but he didnt. he was respectful enough as a leader and an LS mate to at least past what he had down that he didnt use to ppl who could put it to better use.

Yeah what sempronia quoted was a direct quote from minn, but I can see his frustration in a shell that cant claim kings like we have been unable to do lately. Even tho it sounds like he supports botting and stuff, he has never in any way shape or form tried to convince any of us to use bots or anything. He's a pretty fair player imo.

Alb, I gave up leadership a long time ago when I left for BMT. Transferring leadership to Bodrik took from the day I signed up to the day I left for BMT, which was 3 months. When I got back I lead maybe 3 events. I told Bodrik and everyone else that Bod was still leader until I told him I was ready to take over again. I never told him I was ready, and I insisted that Bod, Semp, and Drag still lead until further notice.

Why didn't I tell anyone? Because frankly I didn't want to hurt anyone. What other reason? I ended up posting because I felt obliged to.

I talked to a few people and told them I was considering leaving for another server, and it ended up being a spur of the moment thing after talking to 3b.

as a player Minnich is amazing and fairly easy to get along with..

As a leader maybe his decision to server hop was a little shady, but he wont be leading this shell. He'll be a member..
