For those who have/use vent, and rent/pay for/admin (i guess), would it be possible to have someone explain how to get a vent server/basicly set it up (if shown how to get started, i can take that and run with it for w/e need i have)? i have been to the ventrilo site, so im fairly sure i have to rent from some of the companies who already have a licensed server. thing is i dont know what a "decent" or good price is for a vent server, or really any means of knowledge to set one up. while i was vaguely exploring around, i found a company who offered vent servers at a $$3.50/month (i think, could have been $$3 even or something), so im very interested to see if people could offer opinions / a simple walk through.

I'm trying to set one up for my shell, i have used TS before, but prefer vent to TS. currently a majority of us have Skype, and use that, but id like to get more than 7/8(i think thats the max for a free conference on skype) people into the chat for better communication during a raid / hang out / what have you.
