ok is Enchanted Arms any good?
and as for Shadowrun, idk. I play the actual rpg with friends of mine and all the reviews say it is nothing like the rpg, and you dont even do actual shadowruns. I'll look at it I guess.

Despite the reviews I heard Enchanted Arms was not bad.
My suggestion goes to Lost Planet
It's the only game I've been playing since it came out. I'm a vista player too... so if you want those related accomplisments send me a message or something, gamertag is MnM333, just let me know you're from BG though.Originally Posted by Ziphor

This is the wrong answer. This game sucks. If you want a good online fps try Lostplanet.Originally Posted by Ziphor

like I already said Shadowrun does not work for me because its nothing like the RPG, sorry
How is Shadowrun? (Ignoring Gandorf's post, for well, obvious reasons, he's fucking Gandorf)
For games to get, my recommendations:
Guitar Hero 2 (win)
Bomberman Live (they actually left the classic gameplay without butchering it. 8 player bomberman online with very little lag is epic)
Gears of War (I don't care much for the multi, but single player/coop is a blast)
Castlevania: SOTN (Its just a direct port pretty much, so don't bother if you still have it on the PSX)
Geometry Wars
Pacman: CE (I loved this, such a cool pacman port)
Really looking forward to:
Ikaruga XBLA release
I have to agree with all the games you've all listed so far.
The reasons I like Shadowrun:
There may have very little in it to link it to the SNES RPG or even the P&P one but it's a well balanced online fps.
The Magic and Tech all work wonders if you know how to properly use them to enhance your play, negate other people's ability or just straight out support your team.
Quite often I'll decide to play the support role with my Resurrect/Tree of Life combo. Sometimes if I see more than one person on the opposing team equipped smoke, I'll replace my nades with gust. If someone is sprinting the Artifact (flag) and teleporting around too damn much, I'll sometimes be a bitch and go for choke and anti magic and wall the artifact's location. Anyways there's tons of ways you can play the game.
And essentially it's really just an fps with a limited amount of maps (for the time being). I would have to compare it to Jedi Knight multi player. Anyways, I definitely suggest renting it at least once to try it out.
I might try it, but idk.
oh and I have GH2 for the ps2
once I get rock band and GH3 i might pick up 2 for the extra songs, idk
Tenchu Z was pretty good.
Forza 2 is really nice.
Gears of War of course.
Shadowrun sucks because people on your own team will kill you just to take your weapon. An the loading time takes forever.
Lost planet can be consider not a Fps but it is still a lot of fun. It is prob one the best games I have played in years.
Also Misterbob can we please try to grow up?
So a game is bad because you can get teamkilled? You can take weapons from teammates in pretty much any FPS.
In most other fps you can turn it off. Sure Shadowrun can be ok if you are playing with friends but online Vs ton of idiots just ruins what could be a great game.
If you really want to play shadowrun I recommend downloading it from marketplace.
Shadowrun is a good game, but I like to have the option of playing offline when my net is down for whatever reason, and the game lacks a good story mode.
Dead or Alive Xtreme 2![]()
But seriously, get JSRF. It was the only reason I bought the original Xbox back then.
As if all team-killing on Xboxlive happens ONLY in Shadowrun
Gandorf fails again.
I never said it only happens on Shadowrun. I said most games let you turn friendlyfire off and because shadowrun don't let you that it kinda kills the fun of online.
Don't shoot team-mates... Vote Kick TKers and make the rest of the team aware of it before/during the vote call.
Add player to avoid list and file a complaint.
Rainbow 6 Vegas is the best online shooter for the 360. It tops Gears in almost every category, trust me, play it.
And this thread should be in the console war, best spot for console questions
I haven't bought very many 360 games, but here's my opinion on the ones I have bought:
Dead Rising: First Capcom game in like a decade I've actually liked. Well worth buying.
Final Fantasy XI: $20, nice bargain if you're looking for a second character to level.
MLB 2k7: Fantastic baseball game, though the amount of stolen HRs is ludicrous. When Adam fucking Dunn is robbing 2 HRs per game, you know you have some realism issues. Franchise engine is pretty easy to exploit too.
Oblivion: I actually bought the PC version. Played it for half an hour, haven't bothered with it since. If you're still playing Morrowind to this day you'll probably love it. If you had your fill of Morrowind, this is more of the same.
Saints Row: Cheap, utterly shameless GTA knockoff (Think GTA3 with a better map but terrible writing, acting, and music), but it's worth $20 to help tide you over until GTA IV is out.
Table Tennis: Incredibly entertaining for a few days, but didn't really hold my attention for long even when it was the only 360 game I owned.
