I had my nipples, tongue, ears, and a frenum piercing before, and I think the most painful was my ears. Sanitary conditions is the first thing you want to look for (not that it hasn't been said before).

I bought some cooking salt and some cotton buds too work for 2 weeks after I got mine done... think I cleaned my piercings every 3-4 hours lol

P.S. It was the most pain I've ever felt in one instance. And I skateboarded for 7 years. A big ass needle slowly pushing through the sensitive flesh of your face. I couldn't stop laughing when he did it because it hurt so bad, so he had to stop and let me relax again, as I sat there giggling with a massive spike through my face.

Piercings are lame as soon as they get huge or migrate off the ear.

I used to have my ears guaged at 0, but took them out for work. I also had my lip pierced, but I took that out because I realized I wasnt a member of Blink 182.

I think the only thing guns are used for are the ears, cartiladge and lobe.

I got my tongue pierced when I was 12 (lol... bad phase, cool mother = that shit, my mom has a weird way of teaching me lessons) and the only thing that hurt was the fucking clamp. Seriously, I think the clamp just numbed the shit out of my tongue though. And the swelling after sucked ass, really really bad.

Usually they just use guns for ear piercings and its over really quick.

With a needle though you have to sit there and just watch him hesitate then go straight into your flesh and wiggle it around, then put in the jewlery.

If you're getting regular earrings they'll use a gun. But if you go to a piercing/tattoo shop or are looking for a different kind of piercing then ear lobes, they're going to use a guaged needle.

I've had a lot of piercings in my day and I've taken them all out except tragus piercing on the left ear and an orbital running through my tragus & antitragus on my right ear. They look cool and they're small and feminine, so I'm keeping them

Just take good care of them afterwards while they're healing (sea salt works well), and don't touch them habitually and you'll be fine.

From what i was told, guns cant be sanitized the way a needle can be since the plastic would melt. Don't know if this is true just what i heard in the piercing shop.

However, I have tongue, both nipples( well one got ripped out), and frenum. All can be covered and most people don't even notice the tongue. Honestly none hurt to have done. I would compare them to a bee sting. Fast prick then dull numbing feeling for a couple hours afterward. Took about a month after to fully heal except tongue which was like 3 days. Looking at getting the back of my neck done but they tend to get rejected quite often so doubt i will do it.

About a year ago I got my left earlob and and left ear cartilage pierced. Two months ago I got my right earlobe pierced and my right conch, chicks dig the conch.
