Wanting to actually attempt AV

OK basically what i want to know is what have people actually attempted to do since the nasty AV patch...

please my LS really wants to try and actually figure this out since SE says it is actually do-able.

Please post what things people have actually attempted to do for AV:

1) Slow down his regen...
2) Slow down his 2hrs... (bene is insane...)
3) pretty much anything that hasnt worked no matter how small...

We have a few theories on this just kind of curious if it is a waste of our time to attempt what we figure might actually come of them...

AND YES /SIGH ANOTHER OMFG DAMN AV THREAD SORRY GUYS... But someone has to try and figure this shit out since SE actually says it can be done and has been done by them... (yes yes yes flame me all you want, but we seriously want to do something to try and figure this bitch out...)

Things that may or may not be true:
Killing wynavs reduces his AV's max HP
Killing JoL summons until it does nothing but phuabo causes AV's regen to be cut in half (has anyone killed it sooner than that?)
Elemental attack of the day reduces the other half of his regen
At 79% it spams Meteor, instant cast, and you're fucked
Ebon panels hold the key to killing AV, rumour is you have one person touch every Ebon Panel in HuXzoi and RuMhet at once at it /should/ lock AV

Hey man i dont really see anyone else on our server actually attempting to cancel out some theories on this... And come on man we are a "GraveyardShift" LS wtf else we supposed to do... its bad enough we play the times we do LOL we get bored really easily and maybe this will keep some of my members from falling asleep... (although the 2hr JoL fight should put at least 1/2 of us to sleep as it is LOL).

Just curious but hasn't SE specifically said that AV being "locked" was a glitch and shouldnt have happened?

So everyone that isn't trying to beat AV is supposed to summarize all the AV threads for the person with 7 posts that wants to try AV but is too lazy to read the threads themselves?

Frankly, if reading forum threads has you beat, don't bother with AV.

Because we're racking up the JoL pops and we want to be prepared when AV pops. As an LS we've killed JoL twice and AV popped for us on our first time and wrecked the hell out of us. We didn't even get it down to 79% to see how badly his Meteor would've destroyed us.

So in the recent E3 interview SE confirms that it's beatable and they'll prove it at the next Fan Fest. Great. They said if you kill the mobs surrounding AV (we're all assuming they mean the Aerns) it'll slow down his regen. We all know that the regen isn't the problem. The big problem is the 2hr's. They've also said that it should be beatable with 18, so we can assume it doesn't involve anything as ridiculous as having all Jailers up while you kill it, killing everything in Sea, (cough, touching Ebon Panels, cough)...

When we popped AV, the only obscure thing I tried after we wiped was cycling through /emotes while targeting him - both with and without weapons, to see how he'd react. Predictably (since no one found any other dialogue for AV in the .dats), there was no reaction and when I engage again, I was destroyed.

People have also suggested combinations of weapons/torques/races/etc. We know how to damage him with skillchains and MB's based on game day. It's just the 2hr issue... and any relevant thoughts would definitely be appreciated.
