So does klvino get banned for text zoom(poorly) or does BRP get banned for fixing the text zoom? Deep philosophical questions.
Ban them both? But I'm evil.Originally Posted by solsovly
I thought about this for a while, and came to the same conclusion. I don't think there are a lot of people that give stuff like that away when they quit. I still have mine, even though I haven't leveled a lower level job for a very long time. Heck, each of my inheritted mule accounts has their own as well. I think that SE is relying on new accounts replacing people that quit/get banned to maintain the demand for these. Of course, I'm also not sure that people actually do the hairpin BC, its just the same hairpins circulating since they took the pin away from the emperor.
As far as gil sinks, I think the biggest one is - sole sushi. SE implementing that was brilliant - especially since the most expensive ingredient (wassabi) you have to buy from a vendor. For every stack of sole sushi eaten, 10-17k (depending on wassabi price at the time) is what you paid the vendor. Thats money that goes out of the economy. Food in general is a gilsink, but not as much as the sushi. When it comes right down to it, some people that play the game don't do Limbus, Dynamis, Einherjar - but chances are they do eat.
I miss fishing for rusty caps. That was such good money. Used to duo it with a friend. He would fish, have a mule there that synthed, and I would run to NPC the caps. We thought it was brilliant, but now I realize we looked like a bunch of gilsellers, just a bit better equipped.
In my professional opinion, while BRP's textzoom was an improvement, it was not done correctly. However, I'm quite unreasonable when it comes to things such as this!Originally Posted by Septimus
Being one of the pioneers of the text zoom, I have to say that BRPs usage of said zoom was near-perfect.
I just don't enjoy making the "Quote:" text biggerOriginally Posted by Charismatic

Why stop at Emp. Pins? What I want to know is why people continue to buy Fang Necklaces (and not just a bunch for Bonecraft GP).
