Friend of mine got a LM-17 like in January and it was permanent and they refused to give him any details other than "Bad packets". He tried fighting it for a while before he gave up. As far as I knew, he didn't use anything besides windower. (but I'm not his mother)

The reason they probably won't give out details is obvious though. They want to be able to catch people for the same reasons, and to keep them from avoiding their detection methods. But it's quite aggravating in cases where the person banned thinks they were falsely punished. So you can certainly try to get some information from SE, but don't hold your breath.

It bought me my 1st Dark Staff when they were brand new. RDM/THF for awhile in BCD back n forth raking in the fangs.

I remember a lot of DRKs & WARs went out there as well farming fangs back then. It really was the best way to make gil outside of BCNMs.

Such BS; Darkwarrior a member of TheCrew (a scum LS to begin with) on Ragnarok has claimed the past 8ish Fafs in a row, and others scattered about, the LS itself has claimed a large majority of the Fafs this previous month, when they usually do not claim at all.

People from various LSs have been calling GMs since his streak started, but still no actions, today I called and asked for a GM to watch, and I actually got a reply. He wouldnt stay and watch though, but another GM that someone called popped up next to the guy just to scare him I think, but he had to leave too.

This guy usually claims from across the room with his back turned, and we thought maybe since the GM popped he wouldnt try and bot, but lo and behold he did, again with faf behind hm and darters up.

Called GM and asked for them to hurry the hell up and jail the LS, but I didnt get a responce till about 1min after it was dead >.>

This is pretty outrageous. Not only is he dumb enough to claim this much, but after a GM pops, and knows hes been reported 100s of times? This is just sad. DW is Arabian, and our fellow Arabian member even calls this guy a piece of arab trash >.>

Another persons convo, he missed the first few lines though, just intro and basiclly pissed that a GM came out for 2minutes, and left right before an int when it popped.

Your crap LS (ObscuraNox or NovOrsa or whatever you're calling yourselves today) really shouldn't talk smack (don't you guys have like 3x more wipes to Cerberus than kills) considering your members have attempted to gank NMs (and trying to cover it by unequipping their pearls), claimbotting Faf with only 4-5 people then handing it over to a JP LS because you clearly couldn't handle it, and have at least one of your members helping RMTs. Get your facts straight before you go off saying TheCrew has claimed the last "8ish" Fafs - few are THAT lucky. Apparently you seemed to have forgotten last week when the "best linkshell on Ragnarok" FinalRealm got Nid + 3 Fafs in a row. (Granted, it took the "best linkshell on Ragnarok" 55 minutes to kill Fafnir two of those times.)

I happen to know 3/4 my linkshell for 3-5 years. Oh and we dont claim shit >.< so that kinda gives me the impression we have horrible closet botters, or we actually don't bot.

Unlike other ls's we dont tell people to keep it out of linkshell chat and talk about it on vent.

I honestly feel we have other linkshells on the server in the same boat. If your leadership is against it, and cares, you can fight it. Its the ones that don't care and encourage it that screw everyone else.

Alot of people who bitch about botting just don't understand how much faster NMs in heavily laggy areas pop for PS2 players. I play on 360 and my brother on PS2. I have noticed Fafnir pop and be unclaimed for the normal "window" of unclaimyness on my brother's PS2 and watched him claim some.

Many other players, who I know to play on PS2 usually claim for the same reason.

Tho the back-turned above does lead itself to a bot or even a no darters in .dats issue.
