Thinking that removing dats is cheating is so 2004 it's not even funny. If by some chance you don't bot, you remove files. It's a stretch to even consider it a "cheat" since the game still functions and you don't even use 3rd party programs to do it. Spinning+spamming with files removed is about as legit as it gets these days.

You don't seem to understand. Cheating is cheating. There is no situation where cheating is justified. You might be fine with cheating, but it by no means makes it right. You are not the moral compass by which we all adhere to. So you cheat, great, your a jackass, but don't actually stand there and think for a second that you are justified in the cheating.

If you even bothered to read my other posts in this thread, you'd know that it the advantage it gives over anyone is MINIMAL if it even exists at all. Keep trying to exert your moral superiority on the guy who said what everyone else who isnt a fucking newbie in the game knows but didn't put into words. Think people removing files is cheating? I don't care what sort of parallel you're trying to make, the moral implications of blue light specialing your darters is nowhere near committing a felony or ruining your marriage. It's the easiest way to throw your own argument out of the window, just trash it. Furthermore I, at no point in my life while in a relationship (which admittedly is rather few and far between), have cheated on anyone regardless of the justification.

The point of a cheat is to give yourself an unfair advantage against either the system or other people subject to the restrictions provided by said system. If you kill darters, you effectively take the advantage out of the cheater's hands. Bam, done. The difference at that point becomes aesthetic. You turn removing darters into the equivalent of dat swapping your osode. At that point it doesn't make a damn lick of difference whether or not someone's trying to get one up on you and the rest of the planeteers, they lost their edge. If you don't, then you package the mob and hand it over to them. It's your prerogative, but all that effort you're putting into shining your boy scout badges could be put towards actually claiming the mob, maybe.

Dude, I get it. You like being the bank in Monopoly, and once in a while you will give yourself a kickback. You will win the game, congratulations. The people you just played Monopoly hate you for it and prefer to not invite you back to their game. You don't care what they think? You seem to be keen on comparing FFXI to real life even though it's retarded, but here's a chapter from your book, maybe it'll get through to you then.

The equivalent to removing darters is going 45 miles an hour in a 40 MPH zone. Is it technically against the law? Sure. Does anyone give a shit? No. You should be focused on the people who are driving drunk (the equivelent of botting in terms of severity of the law-breaking in question) instead of petty shit like people going 5 MPH over the speed limit.
