    Screen burn in

    Is there any way to repair screen burn in on a plasma tv? It's not really that bad yet but its getting noticable

    I don't remember if it applys to LCDs only or if it is for plasma's also.

    If you leave it turned off as long as it took the burn in to set in it should fix itself. At least thats how the people who maintain them handle it.

    tv is off like 21 hrs a day at the least, i maybe play for an hr or 2 tops so dont think that'll fix it :/

    However, consider: "In a nutshell, you cannot reverse the damage done by burn-in. What you are essentially doing is burning in the ENTIRE panel so that the other affected area is no longer prominent. While you may be able to blend in the burned image, you are cutting your panel's lifetime down towards half brightness."
