For 501 Delay, the DMG on Naglering is just so low compared to Scythe (and other two handed weapons for that matter)

N.cap vs Ares mask for guillotine and raging rush. My friend would like to know.
Depends on other stats and buffs and mob and everything.
for n head v ares^
Thinking more of situations fighting higher defensive mobs with no Bard or COR.
Yes attack food. A friend and me had a discussion in LS which would be better for guillotine and raging rush ares mask vs nhead outside the colibri/merit camp. I was thinking ares mask was more consistant cause of the nice 12 attack/acc boost vs 11 str but 5 DEX (3.75 Acc).
If anyone could give a more detailed explaination it's very appreciated![]()
N. Head would be nicer for King's Justice; however, as I lack the N. Head but have Ares's Mask, I use the Mask for Guillo/Insurg/RR/KJ. If I had N. Head I would probably use it for KJ and RR since I have 8 GAXE merits and only 4 Scythe merits; however, if I had the remaining 3 Ares's pieces, I would use the full set for all WS's for the DA bonus.
shadow coat vrs marduk's jubbah and omega ring vrs balhran's ring for a brd with no sing/wind merits and the following gear for debuffs currently:
HQ staff/+2 macc grip/+2 horn
marduk tiara/wind torque/singing earring/musical earring
marduk jubbah/af+1 hands/neriod ring (+3 wind)/blahran's ring
astute cape/+6 chr waist/marduk legs/oracle's feet
set summation: +25 sing +25 wind +38 chr +6 macc +2 instrument
(so 250 sing 250 wind 108 chr +6 macc +2 instrument+hq staff)
I'd expect Shadow Coat to be better, but nobody has hard numbers. Use Omega+Balrahn, drop the Nereid ring.
What's better for Monk head gear for TPing in
Walahra Turban Vs Denali Bonnet
I have both but always use Turban for TPing. However lately I have seen a ton of Monks using Denali Bonnet. So which is the best?
Turban
Should be rather obvious to be honest <_< especially on MNK (high gear haste).
Edit: scratch what i previously wrote
Pole Grip's 2% Double attack -
This applies for Melee Hits obviously, but do we know if WS'es are considered as a melee round?
2% chance to double in Melee Hits, 2% chance to double in Weaponskills [True or False?]
2% chance to double in Melee Hits, 0% chance to double in Weaponskills [True or False?]
I'm not sure I see Naglering to be an improvement over Subduer...
With the same Store TP build you put up, Subduer is a 7-hit weapon.
With Raja's, Brutal, /SAM, and Carbonara: Subduer is 11.3 * 1.27 = 14.3 tp per hit
With a 444 delay and 7-hit, Subduer takes 3108 delay to get to 100 tp. With Naglering and 6-hit it takes 501 * 6 or 3006 delay to 100tp, which is about 3.4% faster.
Subduer is 11.49 dps compared to 10.15 dps for Nagle, or 12.9% better.
So the choice becomes (3.4% more ws damage + 20 attack + 4 acc) compared to (12.9% DoT bonus + 6% Critical bonus). For me the Subduer looks like its winning.
DPS is not a real stat. Don't bother with it <_< you're not counting the Attack+20 or Accuracy+4 in there because lolDPS so it's very inaccurate. 90% acc => 92% acc (4acc = 2%acc) is a DoT increase of 2.2% (more if accuracy is lower) and Attack20 is pretty formidable.
Given the majority of drk/sam's damage comes from WS and Naglering allows you to get there quicker and deal comparative damage along the way as well as a lot more on WS, I'd say Naglering is the easy winner.
Basically I agree with what Raen Ryong posted above. You're DPS stat doesn't take into account nagle's +atk or +acc, which will positively benefit dot and ws dmg. And to reiterate, most of drk/sam dmg is coming from ws, not dot. So anything that can get you to ws more and for bigger damage is a running start ahead.
Being able to keep a 6 hit build and not taking a huge stat loss from not being able to eat meat is what makes naglering so attractive as far as great swords go.
The question will be is the 6% crit hit increase from subduer enough to make up for the lack of a 6-hit build, more severe penalty not being able to eat meat, and doing less weapon skills and for less damage. I don't think it can, but I'm more than open to be proven wrong.
