Well played, well played, but what say you to the ridiculous Elvaan summoning pose? And I counter with Elvaan black magic casting pose, it's awesome +1.

Close enough to http://i.esmas.com/image/0/000/004/638/PatMoritaNT_.jpg to get a pass
I shall concede defeat this round, for I cannot speak against Pat Morita.
R.I.P.
For SAM/DRG:
Brutal or Bushi? I've been using Brutal for everything, but I'd started to consider that perhaps Bushi would be more useful for the higher DEF/EVA mobs out there.
for soboro, bushi/wyvern, ws in bushi/brutal
for hagun, brutal/wyvern, ws in brutal/bushi
Actually, with the Moliones combo, if you do the Sniper's + Rajas combo, you're losing +2 acc (if it's a Sniper's +1), zero if it's an NQ.You have to realize that your also sacrificing ring/ear slot with those scythes, so you're losing 5-7ACC on ring or 5skill/ATK+5 ACC+2 on ear. I don't play DRK often, but I stick to my tred tbh.
With the Vendetta combo, you'd be sacrificing +2 acc (or none if you use Ethereal) in exchange for gaining an extra +6 STR, net gain of around +5 attack or so. . in addition to whatever +DMG you gain from the strength equation.
That's why it's such a hard call. In both cases you're sacrificing at most, +2 accuracy.
I really don't see Moliones set as an improvement to Tred/Sniper (cheaper alternative). You're giving up an easy 6hit, ~1/13 crit bonus and ACC+2 (if you have snipers +1) for a more difficult 6hit with fSTR+1 or 2. If you want to maintain a 6hit on Moliones, you're going to need some other STP elsewhere, which is likely to be more lost stats.
Exactly, stop fucking fulltiming Askar body, non-Drg/Relic wielders.
Lemme put it this way: if they added two grips tomorrow, one with 2% DA 5 STP, and another with 12 Accuracy and 6 Dex... which would YOU use?
I don't care if you think you are capping accuracy everywhere, if you're not a Drg, or wielding an Amano/Brav/Apoc, or Jesus, you're probably fucking yourself over.
Alky's vs. Heca for King's Justice.
O hat , homam body Homam legs Homam feet swift belt Cuchulain's mantle blood ring
Jaeger ring (iCheap) P amulet 277 dagger skill and I still miss shit.
Speaking of askar body. I've been sam 75 for more than a few months now, have never found myself wanting one. Only now that I'm lv'ing drg that I've been doing some floor 80 runs.
WAR/SAM, Haste, March/Minuet, Chaos/Corsair, mostly Seigan, occasional Hasso. Askar Manopolas vs Dusk Gloves (NQ) at North MJSP/top Nyzul. 8/8GA, hedgehog pie, other gear:
Perdu/Pole/Bomblet
Turban/Fort/Brutal/Assault
Adaberk/x/sniper+1/rajas
foragers/vbelt/haidate/aurum
depending on who I party with my accuracy changes, varies with my hasso/seigan use. but usually around 91~92% at top nyzul (where I usually merit). can someone do the math for me X(
Your best bet is to parse with DirectParse since it'l break down the parses for each individual mob. Askar when ur acc isnt' capped, Dusk when it isn't. If nobody has done the math by the time I'm done with dynamis, I'll bust out the windows calculator and notepad.
Personally, I use Alkys for easier monsters, like Nyzul, Limbus, Dynamis, Puks, etc. Nhands +1 for everything else. I've been having a great time with KJ, but fuck, when you miss a hit you take a huge blow to WS damage.
Get Nec to give you parsed ACC% from each mamool jobs, you can already guess some which you aren't capped (hi2uTHF&NIN). Just make a separate TP macros (or spellcast) for those that include Nascar Manopolas and whatever else.Originally Posted by Mr. Cobain
EDIT: something from allah with ACC caps on different merit mobs
Feet choices for Ultima/JOL CB/Nukes: MDB+3 (Iron Ram) vs Damage taken -3% (Askar). Rest of gear is:
Magic Damage Taken -10% (15% if Resentment works in sea/limbus which I think it does)
MDB+12
We use two WHMs mainly; one has shell capped, one has it at lv.3 or so.
Is there a clear "use this" answer? I already have Askar and don't really want to get Iron Ram if there isn't going to be any difference, or worse, if it is going to be a coinflip.
