The main flaw in the argument here is that, with your 6-hit build, you can still quite easily have +17% haste (turban, dusk gloves, swift belt, haidate). Add an Askar Korazin and you can use fuma sune-ate to bring you to 20% haste.

So the real answer is: 6-hit + haste wins. ^^

I haven't merited Store TP yet (just got Overwhelm 3/3 today), though I intend to next (when I do the following won't be as applicable).

Don't have B.Haidate atm. Question to those who've been at it longer than I, which will/may amount to better returns for dmg output given my current options?

Had put these line in there, giving my specifics, to avoid the broader suggestions outside of what I have available or to limit confusion in what I am asking. Though thanks for the advice still . It will become applicable if/when I ever attain the pieces you mentioned, and merit Store TP.

I had the gil to get a Bomblet just after the update, and I'm glad I didn't because I've been swapping Acc around for other stuff more and more.

Assuming you have PCC or Fort Torque and won't ditch it, Bomblet would just allow you to... dunno TP in a Flame Ring instead of Acc/Thunder.

What would be better for Rampage (axe/sword) P.charm or Temp.torque? It is a 5hit ws and the off-hand delivers the 6th(not counting da) so wouldnt the temp torque count for 5 of the 6?

Accuracy is calculated on a hand by hand basis, +axe skill doesn't give any acc/atk to the sword offhand.

I can't answer your actual question, I'm not a melee. As far as I have heard, most people prefer the torque to the pcharm, but don't quote me on that.

If you have Temp Torque and are using Axe/Sword, there is a bomb in the mail coming for you.

Man/Jugg with Temp=gewd.

Also, Bst is a melee... kinda...

Made a Bst bud of mine happy when I was talking about his damage against Greater Coli's last time he had a party on them, and how this War was doing about the same damage as he was...said it's bad when I wished we had a Bst instead of a War for a change.... Least I know the Bst has good gear.

Assuming you don't already own the slops for another job, there's no reason to wear them over JSE, although there's little reason to get JSE legs over mahatma if you already have them.

If you have Mahatma, there's no reason at all to get Sha'ir legs. On the other hand if you have no other mage jobs and no real need for an -enmity setup on Bard, there's precious little reason to fork out the cash for Mahatma.

I rarely ever say something like this, but I like the JSE legs for the sole reason that they look so much better than Errant/Mahatma. Errant makes me want to hurl.

For magical spells - Morrigan for sure, for TP - Homam, for WS or Physical spell - Alky bracelets, maybe Morrigan if you're fighting high evasion mob.

Homam Zucchetto or Morrigan's Coron better ?

Magical spells - Morrigan, TP - Walmart turban, WS or Physical Spell - Morrigan or Optical Hat for high evasion mobs, Cannonball - Wivre Mask (esp. if +1).
Homam um... for TP if you really lack these +4 accy and for magic spells if not have Morrigan yet.

I TP in bomb core + flame ring + c. chain on war and my acc is capped nearly everywhere with no food no GA merits >_>
