I would say the INT would be better if you are fighting exp lvl mobs. If you are soloing pets or something the MAB might save you some MP so it all depends on how you are lvling.

As well, I'm looking for a time when I can use Vulcan's Staff for TPing(currently 50 COR, working on AF atm), and what I would have to use to make it viable. ATM I'm using: Shikaree Aketon, Noct+1 hands, legs, Marksman ring, Woodsman ring, Drone Earrings, Merc. Cap. Belt(Gun Belt when /RNG), Empress Hairpin, Bounding Boots, Feather Collar +1, Trump Gun. I'm thinking I won't be able to do it QUITE yet, but curious as to when I'd be able to?

Cuchulain's Mantle vs Forager's Mantle for:

1) Thf SAWS or unstacked WS without any dagger merits?

i use cuchulain for all 3.
even use cuchulain for my apoc drk but i swap to forager's for 1 hit WSs(catastrophe, mandalic stab etc)
multi hit WS and for tping(both 1H or 2H), i stick to cuchulain

I won't argue that it beats SH for that shit, and who the fuck cares, it's solo/campaign, just a step above town gear. I use my Fighter's Lorica +1 for this shit cause I like the look/Enm/Hp/Vit/Def/Att mixed with no negative defensive stats.

If your "acc is fine", parse that shit, 90~95% is "fine". If you really are hitting that much, you might want to reconsider your gear choices, add more haste, eat attack foods, get minuets, chaos roll. Generally the buffs you can get from food/songs/rolls for att are HUGE, like WHOAMG I HAZ 800 ATTACK XBOX WTFTRUCKBUICK huge. Gearing to hit properly under those conditions has been shown to be an effective way to kill shit.

Askar: 5 Str, 12 Att, 12 Eva, 2% DA, 5 Store TP
Haub: 5 Str, 10 Att, -20 Eva, 5 Dex, 10 Acc, -5 Agi

Let's reduce it to an easily understood comparison, leaving out the Store Tp/eva/etc.

Let's say SE released two new grips.

Ares isn't that good for DRG <_< actually, it's not very good in general for damaging purposes. Hell, ever since Atonement I'd argue stuff like Hydra Haubert and Avalon Breastplaye became better in comparison (though situationally still worse).

Askar's also good for a full-haste 6hit build on SAM if your hitrate's good (in merits, it should be) and you don't have usukane sune-ate.

In order to make Ares work for DRG you need White Tathlum and Valk fork. Otherwise, you'll be short of a 6-hit build (Unless you want to gimp other gear choices for +sTP).

Conclusion:
9 dex 10-11 acc vs 5 str 8-9 attack

I'll take my 5-5.5% hitrate
