For RR I personally believe both Ares' and N.Legs are better then Byakko's. I don't have either of the 2 so can't really provide proof about it, but it is what I believe. I know it was brought up not too long ago as well, but for WS's that have a chance to crit it has never been proven or disproven that Dex plays a factor on critting during a WS.

I'd never sacrifice 5 STR for 5 Dex, so stick with Flame rings unless you're lacking ACC then get an ACC ring.

Natara for KJ use Ares', for Rampage stick with Byakko's if you have em, if not N.Legs. Rampage a 5?(can't remember been so long since I used it) hit WS with an A- weapon, so depending on your ACC you may need the extra ACC from the Byakko's.

Seriously, Rampage = use Byakko's? I have both N legs and Byakko, but not the Ares... Hmm

I say Byakko's for Rampage because it's a 1H weapon and the extra ACC from them will probably help you out more, unless you're actually referring to Raging Rush. And from your previous question I just assumed you had Ares'.

if you don't have rajas, I'd say store tp would win easy for 6-hit reasons[it + usukane feet = 6-hit no rajas], though if rajas[no usukane feet] it would be probably better on not high defense stuff assuming you don't mind having to tp in ecphoria ring or chiv chain.

With Rajas, Usu feet but no Usu body, +10 Acc DA+2% might be an option? I mean it's basically just taking a NQ Hauby and swapping +10 Attack for something else, so that "something else" has to be better than a HQ Haubergeon. Most people have a job that can benefit more from the other options, and/or they have better gear than I do on Samurai. :D

I know there will prolly be a thread or two made for the new armors. But the augment system has my head spinning just comparing attributes against each other.

So for example, the new armor with +5 str +5dex +5 agi

if I add + 10 atk and + 10 acc would make it a ws peice comparable to the antares harness as you're getting 2 more acc 10 more atk and str instead of +3 dex/agi

but as a thief would I want to try to turn this into an all around peice and add effects for tp'ing in?

the double atk + 2% and crit +3% are really shiny. So the question is for a tp peice would those two choices be the hands down pick or should I consider the 3% delay minus from dual wield and things like attack +?

Acc really isnt a big issue for my regular hits or I'd have included it.

Sorry if its confusing and poorly worded but like I said all these thoughts are having my head spin.

Side small question how would that compare to the homam corazza for thief tping is dbl atk +2% > triple attack +1% ?

I would test this all out on my own but I dont have gear really comparable to all of this.

If accuracy is not an issue for your THF (pizza, sushi, weak mobs), then none of the combos can beat haste+4% on the rapparee harness.

For uncapped accuracy (~80-88%), so far homam body+meat was the best. But homam just gives 15 acc, and does something 1/100 of the time ( a tripple attack), which is a ridiculously low rate. That's why DEX+5 STR+5 (AGI+5) acc+10 delay-3% will be far superior. It gives you 12-13 accuracy, enhances slightly your average melee dmg/crit rate, and reduces your delay 100% of the time, thus increasing your number of hits and ws in a given time period, by a straight 2~3%.

yah i want to know whats the best balance, i dont like losing too much for something else cause i cant macro in alot of peices due to my macro problem that also needs help scince i use ps3 to play.

also my constant arguments with my samurai friend (hes hume) keep me wondering if im looking the wrong way sometimes >.>

i like staying alive (my constant /nin on most events) and i have 6k recorded deaths, i hardly /war anymore even tho i love the damage. is why i merited evasion, cause i know sam can evade but my parry skill is also 283+5 (bushi no merits, getting AF+1 legs for solo)

any input on some of these items would be appreciated but if you can tell me right off the bat what to realy use and why id be very happy.
