cuchulain's mantle vs cerberus mantle +1 for MNK, assuming accuracy isn't capped, or are more specific stats/buffs needed to make a conclusion?
well its 15 attack vs 7 acc. I'd probably base it on my initial acc. If I could get 84-86% in Cerb, I would keep that on, but any lower than that and I'd go to cuch before restorting to pizza or sushi as opposed to meat. Then with focus, up, I'd swap back to cerb
Cuch's DEX at best could mean 4% critrate, don't forget that. Only applies to merits, of course.
Well, in a mnk's general build, there isn't that much dex. Really not worth mentioning unless you're going out of your way to do a dex build.
What's better?
Darksteel Subligar +1 (Def:29 Physical Damage Taken -3%)
Byakko's Haidate (Def: 42)
For idling in on NIN/DRK (looking for whatever reduces physical damage the most, basically)
Assume PDT isn't capped (I don't have a Defending Ring, am @ -40% w/o subligar)
Norit Kote vs Ochi Kote
To give an idea of other acc gear: Usukane Somen, PCC, Jaeger Ring, Ulth Ring, Hollow Earring, Bhaidate, SH+1.
Merited and not Merited (since I'm not 72 yet and don't have the merits)
If this has been asked before, you can punch me in the jeans.
Hachiryu Sune-ate vs. any STR +3 feet for rng. WS build. Assume I have the best possible gear that an epic ranger would have in all other slots... oh, and for HNM. (hopefully that avoided the "mer its situational mmmkay"
What amount of acc should I aim for before switching back to Okotes?
Looking for some info on rdm/nin tanking. as it stands we mostly tank with nin/drk tanks but just for the hell of it(and its fun lol) I have been gearing my rdm/nin to tank a little. I am working on getting af2 body im just about 1st in line if it drops so no need to ask about that body. the rest of the gear is what im asking about.
Right now what i have is
main: Macuahuitl+1 No plan to change)
off hand: Genbus shield(maybe a 2nd macuahuitl+1? seemed rare that i was getting hit)
head: Warlock's Chapeau (no plan to change)
neck: Harmonia's torque(working on apos to get the eij neck?)
earring1: Eris's earring(plan to +1 this one)
earring2: eris's earing (thinking of cassie earring?)
ring1: BQR (no plan to change)
ring2: mermaid ring (thinking maybe the blood ring once i get a few merits into enmity)
hands: Dusk gloves (no plan to change outside for phlx recast adds hp too)
body: here is where i want to ask for a lot info. till i get af2 what do i use? i cant seem to think of anything. G body i guess if i get lucky for recast thats all i can think of
back: high breath mantle (gigant mantle maybe? 42 more hp?)
belt: warwolf belt( trance belt is my goal and a 2nd swift belt for my mule ; ; should be fun getting)
legs: Crimson cuisses(anything better? +25hp/mp seems nice to me)(edit: someone said prince's slops i looked them up only 5 more hp/mp idk if thats worth the invo-1 but hay maybe
feet: dusk feet(hp haste cant go wrong i guess?)(edit was looking around llwyd's clogs seem cool once i get af2/swift belt. at 1600hp it be +64hp)
I amm a little low on haste with this plan(till i get swift and af2). However with that and full enmity merits id be at +25 enmity and around 1600hp with food. anything i missed? or is that plan ok. Also i feel once i get af2 body ill be over the haste cap with dusk feet is this true?
Also i dont have sea on this account (working on it 4-2) so i cant get the L earring for recast.
hades sainti vs waghs for pup?
no pup but everyone always says hades sainti hades sainti hades sainti that i see online >.> lol
2 ACC 8 delay versus 14 attack. Depends on attack, mob defense, your current hitrate. Quick guess is Wagh when using sushi.
if i dont have G body or af2 body whats the next body you would use for rdm tanking >.>? seeing how seems my long post for shadowed. dusk?
Darksteel +1
For PLD fire resist set(141 without barfire or carol),
5 MDB, 39 HP, 7 ENM (Iron Ram Dastanas + Iron Ram Greaves)
or
2 fire resist (Tarasque mitts + Power sandals)
I'm definitely leaning towards the former option, however stacking fire resist to overcome tiers is the point of the set.
Also, if anyone knows, I'd be very grateful and saved a few minutes of searching if I could get a number to reach for a build? If I remember it's around 300?
