Yeah, that was Megido's gun I think, not that long ago, though I've never heard anybody saying they didn't like the gun. Personally, I'd be torn between the two if I had the money for one. Yoichi is what I'd really like, but you can KC+either one and still get good results, though gun's distance mods suffer less from being up close and meleeing, and KC+Anni looks fun as fuck.
Relic gun and bow WSs both have static hate. I think the gun's is 1/3rd that of bow's but either way it's extremely low (less than a dispel). The gun does have that additional aftermath of enmity down - works like having Dirge on you would. Not sure on how much enmity down it is for the various TP values though.
I think both are fairly unique. I'd argue gun is more useful for endgame long duration fights b/c you can spam Coronach and not get hate. A good RNG will pull hate off anyone no matter how good the tank (product of having a hate cap) so using Coronach helps you control hate even spamming nasty 200 damage bullet shots (though the WS damage is lower).
I'm no RNG expert though.
Currently a 64 RDM. Looking to see what weapon would benefit me more for VT mobs.
Royal Guard Flueret or Company Flueret. I heard Company was good but from what I understand, it's latent is the opposite of Company Sword (DMG boost in low-man parties), so I'm not exactly seeing the awesomeness of it.
Whats better? Cuchulain's Mantle or Cerb +1 for maneater/ridill warrior w/no axe/sword merits?
Cuch's easily... and there is a different Fleuret that is solo damage, M-something I think.
Also: goddammit@serious Rdm melee questions popping up, FUCK YOU SE!
That's an easy one. Cuchulain's Mantle. Even with merits, you'll likely gain more from Cuchulain than Cerb+1 in most situations. 1-hand weapons = ;(
+2~3 Att, +sumcritz%, +7~8 Acc vs -10 Att - 30 Hp +10 Acc

He's kidding in case you can't tell, Settler's cape is the best piece for one thing. Hp down on your back for certain jobs (Pld cure cheat go!), and should never be used otherwise unless skilling up.
He's thinking of the Mensur Epee, which is DMG:47 while solo, although not on weaponskills. It's also a level 73 weapon.
OP: If you are soloing VT mobs, good for you. Otherwise put that sword away. Also, the Company Fleuret is the same as the Company Sword, as the name implies, going up to DMG:41 in a six-man party. At level 65, go for the Royal Guard's for your solo work.
And the correct answer to your question is: Charybdis drops the sword you are looking for (but when you hit level 70).
Time for another Septimus-led purging!
320 Enfeebling Magic or 322 Enfeebling Magic?
320, because its the year the huns appeared in persia
Actually a Light Staff is the single thing in exp that matters, usually. If you have a 'tricky' (bad) party Pluto's comes in handy for sleeps, and it never hurts having Terra's already (need it later, Earth staff is fine for now).
Potent belt vs Wyrm belt for penta thrust.
My apologies if this has been asked before.
Enmity- (mirror tiara/goliard saio/novio etc) setup or
fast cast(warlock chapeau/dueslist body/loq) setup for RDM main healing? ie for salvage
Fast Cast + some slots with Enmity-
Goliard Body I'll use for curing, sadly I can never get it lol.
