from randomer thread my reasoning for it penta mathically should work same for drakes unless 5 dex gives you larger crit rate:

DEX tiers don't exist, and what's this about being divisible by 5? You have 111 DEX, so if you try to get 7 more you're capping dDEX in merits, which means a 20% base critical hitrate.

Also, Mail is the best Drakesbane piece in the game.

he meant on legs for ares/aurum/heca and, I am not convinced mail is THE best in the game for drakesbane, I think Aurum might better but I have neither currently so can't test really, but comparing stats is hard to say Since +15 att vs 2 str/dex 3% crit.

Yeah, i was under the impression that you reach a new "tier" every 5 dex.. after reading other threads, but i get lost sometimes on it all. I do understand the 118 number to reach, been trying slowly since i did read that is necessary for Colibri etc.

Basically atm im trying to reach the 118 mark without sacrificing too much. And love torque is helping me do so, thats where the justification of l.torque vs light gorget gets me...

Edit: Oh yeah.. and i meant legs like Wolf said.. I love my zahak's mail so i dont think ill be taking that off for WS anytime soon lol

Nah every single DEX after being 10 DEX over mob's AGI adds some critical hitrate. The higher your dDEX, the more another DEX will increase your critical hitrate. The base critical hitrate is 5% and the cap is 20% at 50 dDEX.

Any suggestions on 7 more dex that doesnt involve r/e hard to get items lol... Thunder ring would be kinda silly i would imagine.. i would feel gimp using it heh

Thunder ring, Cuchulain's mantle, Ares' flanchard. Pick two. Alternatively, Hecatomb subligar.

Remember, you're never a gimp for doing more damage, and the 5 DEX from the ring means 5% extra critical hit rate.

Yeah I guess at this point in your gear the Love torque adds a few % critical hitrate which is very nice. If you add a Thunder Ring though you'll see more benefit from it.

Death Scythe +1 vs Perdu Sickle?

From what I gather both maintain a 6-hit easily, so 5 base damage vs 5 acc 14 att basically.

I've always heard Perdu is better, but after looking at both Death is listed as having better dps, and 5 base dmg seems like a lot to give up, so what's so special about Perdu?

In terms of DPS, there isn't too much difference between Death Scythe +1 and Perdu Sickle(TP <= 100) and 5 acc/14 attack are worthwhile bonuses. Plus, the price tag on Death Scythe is something I'd call a negative aspect.

Looking at earrings this time. Obviously, gonna pick up a Brutal, but wondering what is good for the other slot? I'm not planning to get a different AN or DM earring (Currently holding Magnetic and Abyssal), so what would I use? Triumph? Pixie? Fowling? Or is there another R/E option I should be looking at?

I use Pixie now, used to use Merman's, don't know why but never bothered with Assault, it's a good option but I'm going to stick with Pixie anyways.

2.25 acc vs 2 acc 5 attack. Unless ur freakin stacked on dex to have a large enough amount for it to make a noticeable impact on your crits,

Mostly just inventory woes, but even still I didn't really see that 5 att would make a difference either when I'm sitting around 700 att with food/minuet/berserk. Figured the chance of a crit would be just as worthy.
