iPod problem..

This has been a very annoying problem.. I cannot drag and drop music into my iPod directly.
Usually i just drag into music, but now i have to put it in the library and sync it, and i have to do that everytime.
For those of you who say, just reformat your iPod, uninstall iTunes and install it again. I have done that many times. erased all music from my iPod restored it about 5 times+ and just uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled it. And usually when i try to create a new playlist, it creates under my iPod. now it makes a new playlist on "Playlists" .

Any ideas?

I remember there being an option somewhere in the preferences of the ipod or iTunes itself, to let you manually do it, I don't have iTunes installed so I can't find it myself, look around

There are two modes for an iPod/iTunes to be set to. Basically, you can either have it sync with a single computer's iTunes library...or you can have manual drag and drop control.

So you just need to set the right options I think. I always have just used the manual mode since I don't care to manage a library via iTunes.

I love how 99% of all screenshots posted have windower, ventrilo, and BG open at the bottom haha.

But yea, check manually enable music. You could even go as far as to change the settings so your image/music/whatever folders aren't synched.
