Downloading Xp
Where's a safe place to download windows XP? I googled it but the results weren't too pleasing.

Re: Downloading Xp
I'd strongly suggest not downloading XP via torrents or otherwise, I've heard stories about how they are corrupted, incomplete, or versions that purposely have security holes so your system can be compromised when you install it. Your best bet is to find a friend or someone who has the XP reinstallation CDs (they come with every new computer) and install that way. You'd be much safer downloading a serial number hack than downloading XP itself. Of course XP is relatively cheap these days too...
However if you're still deadset on downloading xp, Isohunt or other public trackers probably have a few floating around.

Re: Downloading Xp
I recommend using torrents to download anything, if you don't know what torrents are, well, first you need a program to handle the torrent file. I use uTorrent, there are many otheres... Then you need a torrent search engine, I use torrentspy.com, again, there are many others.
uTorrent: http://download.utorrent.com/1.7.2/utorrent.exe
Windows XP pro (no activation needed): http://torrentspy.com/torrent/1153517/M ... tic_update
Assuming you know what to do with a .iso file, all you need to do is wait until it finishes downloading and you've got a working copy of XP. :D

If you are in college, you can get a free LEGIT copy from the MSDN Alliance. (It's how I got my copy of XP Pro and Server 2003)
