Server Forums on BG

I'm always reading topics about other servers that while interesting, dont really have the 'hit home' factor, and we dont know the backstory, so for any drama where we know everyone involved, we are sorta forced to go to KI, which in itself is hazardous.

Why not make a server forum section on BG?
It'd be KI with less retards.

I don't know how the forum server works or anything <.< so if theres a technical reason we dont have them then thats different, but i was just wondering how many think the same thing.

Most drama is pretty petty stupid and fail....usually drama of Epic proportions makes it to BG and the backstory is flushed out...
So I am leaning towards no....don't want to attract KI <.< or Alla here for "drama"

I like that although this is a Bahamut people/LS forum, its a melting pot of every server. I dont think server forums will generate enough traffic, especially on the quieter servers.

No. The current model is working fine for BG. There's no reason to change it.

This exact same idea was posted pre-BG crash. I'd post the link to it, but after searching for it, either I suck at searching or it's lost forever. It received an equally cold shoulder then, too. Mods may just as well lock the poll as the general consensus is pretty clear at this point, even with only 100 votes cast: drama is drama, even if it's on another server, and if you want drama or info unique to your server, go to KI.

The Server shitlist on this forum and the Cross-Server Applications forum should be more than enough to satisfy. Its like a little espresso shot of drama -- not a full course meal of dropped relic, but it'll get you through the morning.

What I see happening is BG adds server forums, then idiots post stupid shit nobody cares about that wouldn't even be tolerated on the spam forum, and since there'd be over 30 forums, including one for Ixion and Atomos, nobody would actually moderate them and in the end, they'd all be unchecked cesspools of idiocy.

The long and the short of it is that if someone's drama isn't good enough for the big boy forums, then it isn't good enough to be on BG period.
