Does Ros. pumps enhance fast cast still work if you dont have /rdm?
Does loq. earring work the same way too?
If so then it seems a good idea to macro it in for enfeebles such as gravity/sleep for soloing.

My only comment in addition to what has been said is that I would ditch the Ocean Rope, and use Penitent's Rope / Hierarch Belt combo. You should be using the Hierarch Belt when resting to full MP, and that is the only time that +45 MP on Ocean Rope would matter. After you rest to full, stoneskin/blink, and that MP is gone. Switch in Pen rope, and you have more INT & - Enmity w/o any MP loss.
Yes, the fast cast on those items will still work even if you are /whm (or /pup for that matter).Originally Posted by fobber

I'm most interested in how you guys break them down. E.g. do you break them down into nuking, resting etc, or do you try to tack everything on to the respective spells?
Eh, I couldn't really explain myself very well but if anyone can understand my verbal diarrhea it'd be much appreciated![]()
Personally, I break mine down into gear - elemental skill, MAB, Enfeebling, dark, hmp, stoneskin and full mp get a macro each. After that I have one for each major spell I need (I only really use blm for Dynamis/Limbus, but there are rare other occasions), plus a few other random things. But eh, I'm a rdm, my blm is a utility job really - if I was a blm main I'd probably take more care over my macros. And I do use windower macros, six macro lines does my head in. I don't want to hit three macros to get max mp gear...
Thank you for your responseI may have to resign myself to using Windower macros, though I didn't really want to. It does seem like the only way to achieve a good set of macros however.
I didn't want to either, but I feel I've become a more effective mage using them. They just allow for so much more scope.
