Wii Internet problem

I've got a wireless router, I set everything up properly on the Wii. I do the connection test, and it tells me everything is running fine, but when I try to do something involving the internet, it tells me the internet cant be found.

What gives

Disable WEP, view the User Agreement, enable WEP, enjoy.

I know my wireless works since my laptop connects via it, and my DS works too (which is strangeee)

it happens to me sometimes too, internet works fine, i'll turn the Wii off then come back and try to use it and it won't work.

usually though if i run the internet connection test it'll reconnect it and I can use the net again after.

I have a linksys wireless router for mine too, not sure which specific model.

I even set up a new connection in the Wii when I disabled it in the router.

I sorta have simalar problems.. I dunno it just seems the networking software that Nintendo loaded is .. unreliable at best.

Every fucking device in my house can be actively using my goddamn router.. but my Wii and My DS will be spotty at best.

I have a feeling that nintendo is just retarded.

If i want to play Mario stikers charged online i have to turn on/off my modem to enjoy a game. 95% I lag out before i can finish a whole match at all. Shame cause its a fun game online.

is your wii and your router using the same channel?
I wouldn't see a problem since I'm using linksys WRT54G router
